Really like this TV, have bought it recently and very impressed. The design looks really cool and it draws attention to itself. It is a flat screen, as I have come to accept from my TVs now, long gone are the days when I would settle for a bulky TV that you have to re-arange half the room to accomodate for, and so I made the change from plasma to LCD. Which brings be on to this TV.
Picture Quality
Pretty, good, the screen size is 32in, still a bedroom TV in my opinion, but a respectable size. It also has HD as well as 10,000:1 High Contrast with Intelligent Scene Controller (which means that dark scenes are shown impressively more clearer than most TVs), both of which make the picture quality clearer. What I found impressive about this TV is that the picture quality is not diminished by sitting at an angle to it, You can be a few degrees less that horizontal to it and still see the same picture as someone facing directly towards it. This is because it has a 178° Wide Viewing Angle.

Sound quality
Pretty good. The sound is loud and realistic. The TV comes with V-Audio surround with BBE ViVA HD3D Sound (not quite sure what that is but if it helps).
4/5
Ease of instalation
A bit difficult in places, but quite easy to manage, I didn't have any real problems.
4/5
Remote control
Pretty clear and simple. It is also quite good to hold and isn't too bulky or anything.. The buttons are well labeled and you don't find yourself thinking 'well what does that do?'

Value for money
A bit pricy for a 32in, there are some cheaper ones about, but a high quality TV and worth the extra. Just be sure to shop around.
Advantages: Excellent picture quality with the best remote I've seen in any television. Disadvantages: Freeview really doesn't do this television justice; a high-definition signal is a must.
...in summer 2008 this 32" Panasonic LCD television was bought by my father for our kitchen/dining room. Up to now I have been nothing but impressed with the quality of the screen, though the Freeview signal is terrible for a screen this size. When delivered the box was snug, though still exceptionally big due to the size of the television in the first place, but there were no issues in getting it out and placing it on the stand as there were two people ... ...is the case with all Panasonic electronics I?ve had the pleasure of dealing with the accessories were all individually wrapped in their own plastic bags and the remote is excellent, a sturdy model that looks like not even the worst of toddlers could break. An excellent feature is the Panasonic Viera Link technology which allows you to use the remote with your Panasonic DVD player for all its most basic functions something I do on a daily basis very ...

Advantages: Built-in Freesat tuner in a state-of-the-art digital HD 1020p LCD TV. Disadvantages: None at the price.
...I consulted Which? magazine before buying my first LCD HD TV and the PanasonicTX-32LZD80 came highly recommended so I visited Richer Sounds to get one but unfortunately they had just sold the last one in stock. However they had one left of this newer TX-32LZD81 model at just £20 more at £499.95 which I understand is the same as the TX-32LZD80 but it has a built-in Freesat tuner. I also bought a 5 year extended warranty from Richer Sounds for another £50.
It was a doddle to set up, I simply plugged in my existing terrestrial and Sky satellite aerials into it, switched it on and it automatically started searching for both terrestrial and Freesat channels, and within two minutes it had found the lot. After entering my post-code which it uses to sort the Freesat channels and answering a couple more set up questions away it went and 30...

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.
...At first I wasn't convinced by up-scaling DVD player technology but was persuaded after reading an article in "What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision" magazine. Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new PanasonicTX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied.
On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. All the components such as cables, remote and manuals were well presented in their own protective plastic bags, to keep them protected. The player...
