Panasonic Toughbook 71

I have owned my Toughbook 71 for over two years now and I still believe it has been a very good purchase. One of this toughbook's strong points is its looks. Even though the laptop design has advanced a bit in the last two years the CF-71 still looks unique with its integrated handle and its silver painted case. This laptop is not a ToughBook but a Weak Book. The battery only lasts around 45 minutes and the screen keeps failing and flickering. I wanted a laptop that I could rely on as I work in rural environments near rivers and muddy fields (well someone has to !). The Panasonic toughbook was meant to be the answer with its ruggedised casing and splashproof keyboard. Well, in my experience the slightest hint of moisture in the air and the whole thing packs up.
