The Panasonic VS2 actually isn't a bad little phone.

It does not have a screen when the phone is folded shut but it does have an LED bar across the front under the camera lens. If someone has phoned you or sent you a text, this light flashes. The colours can be set how you want and there are choices of colours: red, green, yellow, purple and blue. You can even set up different colours to flash for certain people in your phone book. It also flashes in various ways if people use emoticons, like :-( and :-) for happy and sad faces.

On opening the phone, the screen is large, bright and clear. It is very easy to operate as well. It has the following features:

Games: Sonic the Hedgehog (full game) and a Soccer game
Media: Pictures, Videos and Sounds can be stored in here
Calender and Web Browser
Camera: 1280x1024 pixels
Messages: Text and Voice
Tools: Alarm and Calculator

It has everything most people will use.

The battery life is very good and I could go for days without charging this. It came with a wall charger only.

It is easy to open, one button on the side and the phone springs open, so this can easily be done one handed.

The keypad is generally very good although after a few years I found some of the buttons needed pressing a little harder.

Texting had problems. You could add words to the dictionary very easily, but you cannot take them out, or I can't find a way to do this. Texting in the future will bring up these words under predictive text before it's own dictionary. This can be a problem as it is too easy to add wrong spellings by mistake.

I always managed to obtain a very good signal from this phone.

A nice budget phone. I would recommend this.
