Neither had I, it is simply a piece of software, which will enable you to use just one single remote control, to operate anything connected to your TV, all equipment has of course to be made by Panasonic! Connectivity is everything, This includes Scart, Component, PC and HDMI terminals to allow connection to all technology we have now, as well as for the foreseeable future. The list of things I have not even started to understand, includes advanced 3D colour management, digital optimiser, motion pattern noise reduction and sub-pixel controller, everything but a teasmade then! Sound. OK the sound is very very much up to you, there are so many different settings you would need to read up before even attempting ...

Panasonic Viera is a clear choice for a modern television!

Advantages: Clear picture, great sound, and good value!
Disadvantages: Only thing I can think of is the annoying display messages that have to close upon start-up.

In my opinion I have never written a five star review before, for the fact that almost everything can be improved upon, but I am willing to make an exception for this extrodinary piece of equipment. This television was rated the best buy out of seventy LCD and plasma televisions currently on sale in the UK, taking into account picture quality, sound quality, ease of use and power consumption. It had the same score as the Panasonic Viera TX-32LXD7 which has a list price of a hundred and twenty pounds less. Since receiving it I have connected it to my Pioneer DVD player (component), Sky box (SCART) and Macbook (VGA), and I am amazed at the results. Everything is far better than I have seen and heard on other sets. According to the review I read, prior to purchasing the set, it excels when showing high definition; I have tried this with Sky ...
