Panasonic X60

The Panasonic X60 has been my trusted mobile phone for nearly 2 years now. It is an excellent, reliable, stylish little mobile. It holds a variety of excellent features:

...a pay as you go Panasonic X60 and i'd say it was definately worth the money as there are so many great features and its still going strong.

Overall, I’ve found this phone to be excellent, and although ive scuffed it from dropping it loads it still does the job. The Panasonic X60 has been my trusted mobile phone for nearly 2 years now. It is an excellent, reliable, stylish little mobile. It holds a variety of excellent features:
Messages: This mobile has SMS, MMS (multimedia messaging) which are both excellent fun. MMS in particular is a great way to communicate as you can attach pictures and ‘moving’ pictures that are downloadable and you have a few preset such as sexy devil. SMS on this phone includes T9 predictive text which is optional to use. Personally, I find it easier not to use the T9 predictive text function. Messages can vary in length depending on how much you write 459 characters being the max.

Phone calls: This phone is great as you can have Multi-party calls (where you have 3 or more people in a conversation at the same time) which vie found is really helpful when talking to a group of friends. Also, this phone allows you to accept another call whilst you’ve already received a call. You can also make a second call whilst your on a call! This is all pretty simple and is explained in the user guide. Actually making a standard phone call is very simple, just enter in the number on the main screen. You can view your outgoing calls, received calls etc in your memory. This can be deleted if you so wish. The receiver volume also can be easily altered.

Calendar: This phone also includes a camera on its main menu that enables you to remember those vital appointments and dates. It also gives you an option of setting an alarm to remind you.

Contacts: The phone book on here allows you to store your contacts with loads of info including name, mobile no, home no, email, a picture of them which pops up each time they ring you or you ring them which can be very amusing, and also allows you to group them e.g. family, friends, work etc

Camera: Approx 110 pixels, not the best quality but not bad. Options of image sizes include 352 x 288 and 160 x 120. An anti flicker option of either ‘mode 1:50 Hz’ or ‘mode 2:60 Hz’ and finally twilight mode which can be switched on or off. The brightness can also be altered to an extent of +2 and -2.

Applications is also an option on the main menu: This includes vodafone where you can find info on the news and weather, sport etc. An alarm, sound recorder (up to 15 seconds) calculator which is very handy and infrared activation.

Settings: allows you to change profiles e.g. quiet, outdoor etc. Sound e.g. change incoming ringtone , volume etc or download more from vodafone live. Vibration alert, display e.g. wallpaper (you can use one of your own pictures as a wallpaper for your phone), language, data connections, calls, security (you can change your pin for extra security or have more than one!), time and date.

Vodafone live is excellent and allows you to download wallpapers, ringtones etc. The polyphonic ringtones are excellent quality on this phone. Vodafone mail can also be used allowing you to access email.

Fun and games: This phone comes with a java game already in tacked. You can download more. On average they cost about £5. You can turn the music on or off.

Cost: I paid £180 for a pay as you go Panasonic X60 and i'd say it was definately worth the money as there are so many great features and its still going strong.
