Advantages: Best value for money QUALITY Video + Great Price = Value Disadvantages: Software is not the best out there. But you can use windows movie maker easyly
The Panasonic NV-GS180... Having a 3CCD camcorder is the best thing in the camcorder world. 3CCD is the technology used in news/TV cameras to give you that crystal clear cut video!!! And i must say, this camera is the best i have seen around, for the price as well as the quality. It has plenty of functions to fiddle around with, but the end all is that the video quality is fantastic and i reccomend anyone starting off from making their own home videos, ... ...£1000 and more easyly! Panasonic have been able to cut the costs down due to the fact that it uses DV cassettes. Which are more reliable in terms of not getting damaged that easyly. The software (pinnacle studio) that comes with the camera, i must say, is not that great. It was incompatable with the new computer i bought, which had windows vista. Advantages: Excellent video Disadvantages: No stabilisation in widescreen
The Panasonic 180 is the "entry level" 3CCD camcorder from Panasonic. I bought mine from Currys at just under £300.

Having set up a cinema system at ... ...wife bought me the Panasonic 180 as a birthday gift, and I have to say it is a revelation. The "3CCD" imaging system is a true leap forward in home video photography. With one capture device for each of the three primary colours, the definition is greatly improved. Perhaps It is not quite up to DVD or broadcast standard, but it does not fall far short. But the really amazing thing is the totally life-like colour rendition. Overall, the imaging is ...

Advantages: Good Value Product Disadvantages: None
This is a good quality product that offers good value for money in the very short term. Although as with most electronic products, the value will deteriorate over time and should be able to get a cheaper version next year. It's a great little device with plenty of features that I would highly recommend. This really is a wonderful piece of kit that should go well with many accessories because it really looks good. However, always think carefully as ... ...it. We buy so many things nowadays that we don't really need.
