Panasonic super compact digital video cameras have a wide selection of easy-to-use features. All Panasonic digital video cameras have i.Link DV Out terminals and some have DV In as well. Those with both allow footage to be downloaded from the camera via the i.Link DV Out into a PC for editing and then transferred back to the camera via the i.Link DV In for easy storage on tape. Analog In/Out terminals on some models enable conversion of analog videos to a clearer more versatile digital form. Color Nightview enables shooting of color images in near dark of just 0.1 lux of illumination. This camera features Bluetooth compatibility.

...The PanasonicNV-GS180... Having a 3CCD camcorder is the best thing in the camcorder world. 3CCD is the technology used in news/TV cameras to give you that crystal clear cut video!!! And i must say, this camera is the best i have seen around, for the price as well as the quality.
It has plenty of functions to fiddle around with, but the end all is that the video quality is fantastic and i reccomend anyone starting off from making their own home videos, to videoing as a hobby (Youtube), this is the best camera you can use. Its the best value for money as its not expensive at all compared to other 3CCD cameras which range to £1000 and more easyly!
Panasonic have been able to cut the costs down due to the fact that it uses DV cassettes. Which are more reliable in terms of not getting damaged that easyly.
The software (pinnacle...

...Panasonic's NV-GS400B looks to be an appealing package, but is it good enough to steal the Sony DCR-TRV950's mantle as the best low-cost, semi-pro three-chip camcorder?
Although the top end of the prosumer market is hotly contested by Sony's VX2100 and Canon's XL1S - along with some of the cheaper professional models - there are fewer choices for those with less than £2,000 to spend. Canon's XM2 is a great camcorder, but for value, Sony's three-CCD DCR-TRV900 and its replacement, the 950, have been hard to beat. However, Sony has discontinued the TRV950, and replaced it with the DCR-HC1000. But this is aimed at a slightly different audience, leaving vacant an important slot in the market.
Enter Panasonic's NV-GS400B. Whereas the company's other recent contributions, such as the NV-GS200B, have brought three-chip technology...

Advantages: Good Average Weight, Very Simple To Use. Disadvantages: Menus Quite Hard To Navigate.
...to understand. The main two difficulties I found with the camera was navigating the cameras menus and remembering which cables go where when connecting it to the television. When going thorough the menus you use the vertical scrolling wheel that is also be pressed to select. Unless you press it properly you may turn the wheel as well, this can get very annoying indeed! However, overall it is fairly easy to use.
I would say that the durability on this camera is very good but to make it like this Panasonic have also had to add weight. However, it is has an average weight, which is good for average time filming. If you do wish to make longer movies, e.g. 15+ minutes, I would recommend buying a tripod.
I would say that the PanasonicNV DS29B has a very good range and quality of features for the average Joe. Some of this includes screen effects like...
