Wireless picture transfer from camcorder to PC - the Bluetooth technology of the NV-MX8 Digital Camcorder offers unprecedented comfort. Further highlights of the NV-MX8: "video spots" that can be recorded in MPEG4 format and so sent directly as e-mail or integrated into web sites, and the device can also be used as an SD Voice Recorder. Whatever its multi-functionality, this model is above all excellent camcorders with an outstanding Leica Dicomar objective, a Megapixel-CCD, 530-line horizontal resolution and a further-improved optical picture stabilizer. The high-performance Leica lens developed in cooperation with the famous camera manufacturer provides 10X optical zooming and also allows you to enlarge images 100 times. With 1, 020, 000 image points, the megapixel chip gives the recordings an outstanding sharpness on tape. The NV-MX8, with its color finder and 3" LCD monitor provides cameramen with an optimal view and also enable them to watch the video or photo shots comfortably. The NV-MX8 is provided with a built-in flash that allows you to make successful shots even in the poorest lighting conditions. It also has an intelligent accessory terminal, which provides a basis for practical fittings. The camcorder offers 11 digital image effects for creative shooting, including gain-up, stroboscope, mosaic, solarization, tracer and mix. During playback special effects are also possible, such as the multi-image function, which displays 9 pictures simultaneously on the screen, or the picture-in-picture view, which displays a still frame additionally on the recording. The progressive photoshot function allows one to make excellent quality photographs of still frames: the NV-MX8 features a resolution of up to 1, 230, 000 pixels (1280 x 960). Recordings are saved in the innovative SD card, which offers the highest compatibility as the "bridge medium" of the future. An 8 MB SD card, included in the range of supplies of the NV-MX8, allows the device to be used even as a dictating machine. The recordings can be further processed e.g. in a computer. The NV-MX8 also allows you to record video spots in a compressed MPEG format. Because of their small file size, the sequences can be directly placed on a web site or sent by e-mail. The state-of-the-art "Bluetooth" technology enables the easy transfer of still frames (VGA format) from tapes or from the storage card. Radio waves in the 2, 45 GHz bandwidth transfer the data e.g. to a PC at a transmission rate of 1 megabit per second. Conventionally, still pictures and MPEG4 spots can be transferred from the NV-MX8 via a speed USB port. The NV-MX8 is equipped with both a DV and an analog input, which allows videos processed in a computer to be recorded on tape again.
