The SV-AV10 e-wear is the ultimate way to step into the age of digital entertainment, and is so small, you can take it almost anywhere. In one incredible, lightweight, pocket-sized unit you get a digital video recorder, digital still camera, digital audio player and digital voice recorder. And since all features use SD technology and SD memory cards, you only need one format to take advantage of its many uses. The SV-AV10 uses SD memory cards, the super-light storage medium developed for audio, video and computer applications. SD memory cards are about the size of a postage stamp, and offer fast data transfer rates and excellent security. Best of all, SD memory cards can handle multiple formats, so the MPEG4 video and JPEG photos you record on SV-AV10 can be saved on the same memory card. Then, place the SD card in the included USB reader/writer, and save your various files to a PC to store, email, edit and share. Once your files are saved to your PC, you can free space on the SD card, then reuse it.
This isn’t the first video camera we have had; it is a replacement for a 15 year old Panasonic (which still works by the way) which weighs 10 times as much and is probably 10 times as big and uses the record onto videocassette method of storage!
