Advantages: Quick to Install, Fast, Better update System
Disadvantages: Quite expensive

Over the years i've been a loyal customer to Symantec, Purchasing their products since the time when they used the massive boxes to ship them in. Norton internet security has to be the best version yet. As with all the other Norton security packages, it does its job extremely well. I have to admit that I can't remember the last time I got any virus onto my system. The only thing would be the simple tracking cookie. Slowness People think that when they buy Norton, it completely slows their PC down. Now, this may be true for some of symantecs older security, but 2009 is completely different. The installation time is one thing, Its insane how quickly it installed. Now that its installed I never notice its there, just silently running in the background. Norton Internet Security

Advantages: Quick and sooo easy not to use..... all the work is done for you!!!
Disadvantages: Connection with the Tech support is a bit unpredictable

Having Trouble with Internet Security? Need help? Yes? So did I when my years subscription decreased to 90 days IN ONE DAY!!!!! I just renewed my norton subscription and got a free update to the new 2009 package. AMAZING!!! couldnt have asked for better service, 10 out of 10!!! I had just rebooted my computer and when I turned it on again my Norton subscription had only 90 days left even though i had just renewed it for a year. I spoke to a member of the Symantac Technical team who requested that i allow him access to my computer to fix it himself which i did. WOW!!! soo fast! I just sat back and observed as he did all the work! He uninstalled the my new, older, 2006 version of Norton Internet Security and Installed the complete brand new 2009 package with no extra cost to myself!!!!! Would seriously recommend it ...

Panda Internet Security 2007 - Not Good

Advantages: Easy-to-use, clear interface
Disadvantages: Bug-ridden, poor detection rates, Vista incompatibility

I recently bought a PC and requested that Panda Internet Security 2007 and Panda Antivirus + Firewall 2007 come bundled with it. I did not realise at the time that the latter product superseded the former. I had problems installing the products anyway - the versions that came bundled with the computer were not Vista-compatible and as my PC's OS was Vista, they would not install. I contacted my PC supplier, as really they should have seen better than to bundle incompatible software, and they suggested I contact Panda directly, so I did, and downloaded and registered Panda Antivirus + Firewall 2007 from Panda's website. I then downloaded Panda Internet Security 2007 and realised that it had all of the functions of Panda Antivirus + Firewall 2007 plus some extra ones, so I installed and registered that instead.
