...first one I chose was Pantene Pro-V Sheer Volume Shampoo, which I chose because I remembered seeing adverts for some of the other Pantene Pro-V shampoos, and they gave the impression that they worked well, and were high quality products.
The shampoo comes in quite a posh looking, white bottle, with the Pantene Pro-V logo on the front, in silver and purple, purple being the colour code for the Sheer Volume range. The bottle has a wide ... ...well, as you don’t need to use a lot.
Other products in the Pantene Pro-V Sheer Volume range are conditioners, and volume styling products. And also in the Pantene Pro-V range are several differnet ranges of products catering for every type of hair.
My usual shampoo works really well on my hair, but is quite difficult to find in the shops, so when my bottle ran out, I went straight out to buy a new one, and wasn’t surprised when I couldn’t find one anywhere. I still needed some shampoo, as I didn’t have any at home, so I decided to take a look at what else was on offer that might do my hair some good, and ended up picking up a few different ones to try.
The first one I chose was Pantene Pro-V Sheer Volume Shampoo, which I chose because I remembered seeing adverts for some of the other Pantene Pro-V shampoos, and they gave the impression that they worked well, and were high quality products.
The shampoo comes in quite a posh looking, white bottle, with the Pantene Pro-V logo on the front, in silver and purple, purple being the colour code for the Sheer Volume range. The bottle has a wide flip-top lid, with purple around the top, and Pro-V written across the top. The lid fastens securely enough to ensure no spills, whilst still being easy to open when you want to use it.
On the back of the bottle is information about what type of hair the shampoo is suited to, what it does for your hair, and how it works, directions, and a list of ingredients. The directions simply read, “Lather, rinse, repeat if required.”
The shampoo is for flat, fine, or lifeless hair, and claims to give boosted volume, full bodied healthy looking hair. It’s clear formula removes residues for a clean foundation for volume styles, whilst Pro-Vitamin B5 penetrates to nourish from root to tip, leaving hair boosted, shiny and full of healthy volume.
On opening the bottle, you are greeted with a fresh, light, clean scent, which I could only describe as pleasant. The shampoo itself is a clear liquid, which is neither runny nor thick, and has a smooth creamy texture.
The shampoo lathers up quite well, to form a soft, pure white lather, then rinses out fairly easily. On drying my hair after use, it felt much the same as usual, but slightly lighter. Once my hair was completely dry, it felt extremely soft and smooth, and completely tangle-free. And although there was no added volume to speak of, my hair did feel a lot lighter than usual. It also looked a lot shinier and healthier than usual.
The smell stayed lightly on my hair for hours after use, and my hair continued to feel soft and smooth. However, by the time I woke up the next morning, my hair had become significantly greasier, which in turn, had a dulling effect on my hair. This then became worse throughout the day, though not to such an extent where I wouldn’t want to be seen with my hair like that.
Overall, I was neither impressed nor disappointed with this shampoo. It didn’t give me the volume I had always wanted, and my hair became greasy fairly quickly, but it did leave my hair feeling extremely soft and smooth, and looking shiny and healthy. So it’s really just a case of what is the most important to you.
The shampoo is available in 200ml bottles, priced at £1.99, or 400ml bottles, priced at £3.49., which I think is a perfectly reasonable price, as either size will last well, as you don’t need to use a lot.

When I got home I tried it out immediately. The shampoo is clear in colour and smells beautiful. It has a rich lather and rinses well.

However, with the new pantene range I am absolutely amazed at the results.
My hair is very very fine indeed, even my five year old daughter has a better head of hair than me! It looks straggly, greasy if I don't wash it every single day, and never seems to look right no matter how well it is cut.
One morning, I washed my hair with Pantene Sheer Volume and as soon as my hair was dry, my hair looked absolutely great, even if I say so ... ...my friends commented on how nice my hair looked that day.When you bear in mind I had not styled it or blow-dried it, that is quite a compliment to the shampoo.
The other reason I love the shampoo is that now I don't even have to wash my hair every day if I don't have time and for me with two young children that is brilliant.
It is £3.49 for a large bottle in major supermarkets and will last me quite a long time as you really don't need to use very ...

I bought my shampoo at Tesco but Pantene is available at most other supermarkets, corner shops, chemists and other outlets that sell shampoo.

Pantene sheer volume comes in a white plastic bottle with the purple and silver Pantene pro V logo on it. It is available in a 250 ml bottle or a 400ml bottle they cost £2.09 and £2.96 respectively, ... ...Some people do not like Pantene as it does not suit their hair, others find it too expensive. I like its effects on my hair and find the price although not cheap, no worse than other well branded hair products
.I used some last night wetted my hair and squeezed a little liquid on to my hand. The liquid was clear, not especially thick but certainly not runny... It has a light pleasant clean smell.

Pantene Pro V is a household name nowdays and it is a recognised product which is regularly advertised on the television. It contains special ingrediants which really cleanse each hair strand from root to tip. This shampoo is higher priced than most others... averaging from $4.00-$6.00 depending on the store. Most of the time its $5.00. This Shampoo is well worth its inflated cost, but if you still don't want to pay that much for a shampoo, I would wait till it went on sale.

I know they are several types for different types of hair, i.e. one for coloured, one for curls (to minimise frizzing) one called sleek and shine, so find the one for your type.
My hair is fine, flat and thin so its difficult to create volume but this shampooSheerVolume does it brilliantly, says on the bottle that it boosts volume and body of flat or fine hair and has a peach type fragrance. The bottles are tall, and slim and fit in you hand just right, they are colour coded on the trim for the different types mine is purple and the conditioner stands on its head for easy dispersal.

I got given a free sample of this shampoo and conditioner so not sure about the price and also I was not very impressed with it so I would not buy it!
The sample was quite big, enough for two or three shampoos and conditions. I used it one morning, it smelled nice, lathered well and rinsed quite easily, and followed with the conditioner, which I left on for about 3 minutes. It too rinsed away quite easily and no complaints there.
However, once I had dried my hair, I noticed it was very dull looking, and almost grey, as though it was coated in something. But I tried using again after a couple of days and the same thing happened. I would not use this again as it made me wonder what was in it to have that effect on my hair. ...

Since i have often used pantenepro-vshampoo and conditioner and been completely satisfied, i thought i would try the sheervolume hair spray. At £3.29 for 250mls, this hairspray was more expensive than i would usually pay, but i thought i would give it a try.
After using it, my hair felt slightly stiff, but i didn't think too much about this. I went out, and my hair stayed in place, but it still felt hard, so once i got home i went to brush my hair. this was quite hard as my hair was all stuck together, and then i noticed that it was leaving white flakes in my hair. i had only used a tiny amount of the spray so was quite surprised to see this.
A few days later i re-tried the hairspray, but found the same stiff hair and white flakes, so have not used it since. As my hair is dark, the flakes really showed up, which is what really ...
