I have used Papa John's online for about a year, and I must admit, it offers exceptional service.

Their website is simple and straightforward, you just put in your postcode, then click on what you want, and then wait for your doorbell to ring.

In comparison to other local pizza shops, Papa John's is the superior, especially in terms of quality and customer service. The food at Papa John's does tend to be more expensive than the independant shops, sometimes up to twice as much for a pizza, but quality does come at a price, and it is definately worth it at Papa John's.

Their customer service is excellent. If you order by phone, the call is promptly answered by a friendly person who first takes your phone number. In my experience, once I have done this, the man on the phone then reads out my address and I simply confirm this and make my order. I don't know if this will be different if you're ex-directory or not. You then order your pizza and told the price and time of delivery.

Delivery is always on time, and often early, whether or not you order on the phone or online. The people who deliver the food are always friendly and bring your food in a bag to keep it hot, just the way it should be.

I have to point out one thing I particularly think is good about Papa John's, and that's their pizza box. This may sound weird, but the box is yellow with a picture of tomatoes and pizza ingredients on, and this makes Papa John's look really professional and presentable, which can only be a good thing.

When ordering online, the prices are the same as they would be over the phone, but there are occasionally some promotional codes going around both on the internet and some which come through the letterbox. Also, the price you see is the price you pay and there's no hidden delivery charges like you might find with some independant businesses.

Their online service is good, and it gives you the chance to pay by credit or debit card, or cash on delivery.

Papa John's have received some awards for their service which are: No. 1 for Customer Satisfaction between '96 and '06, and also UK pizza delivery operator of the year for '04 and '05.

I have never actually been into one of their stores, but my experience of them so far, I can only image they must be good.

Papa John's is just nowhere near as good as Firezza, simple as that.
