I'm a serious perfume junkie! I have so many, it's unbelievable and my Husband thinks it's quite sad! I bought this one recently. I'll explain why.
Basically, everybody has heard of Paris Hilton due to her partying antics! And then she released an album, which was quite "cheesy" but pretty good nevertheless.
When I first heard she was releasing this perfume, I decided to buy it. She always looks good, and she's always out boogying the night away on the dance floor, I assumed it would last the whole night and smell OK, obviously she would need a perfume that would keep up with her lifestyle.
I'm forever buying perfume, desperately hoping to find the one that would last the entire day/night. And I haven't found one as yet, ad to be honest, I still haven't.

I'll start with a bit of background on the beautiful Ms. Hilton.

She is known, not only as a socialite but as an actress, recording artist, fashion model and author! She has her hand in a lot of pies. She started a sub-label from Warner Brothers in 2004 called Heiress Records, and has released a top-selling album. She has her own chain of nightclubs, purses, jewellry, watches and is starting a fashion line.

Now, enough about her, lets talk about her product:
I'll start with the packaging - It comes in a bright pink box, with wavy lines running vertically. This was a major factor that helped me buy it. I'm obsessed with the colour pink! The bottle itself, is very attractive, or so I thought. It always helps if the scent you are wearing comes in a attractive bottle! It's a straight bottle, and again it has wavy lines running vertically along the bottle, this time they are bright pink and black! (I'm obsessed with zebra-print too, so this was definately a plus!) "Paris Hilton" runs along the top of the lid in black. The shape of the bottle is very simple, but I think it effective, especially with the intricate decoration and bold colours.

The bottles available are 50ml, 100ml and a 30ml bottle in the shape of a heart! (Pointless, but cute nethertheless!) They are priced approx. 25 pound, 35 pound and 20 pound repectively.

According to the manufacturer, this perfume is meant to be sophisticated to personify the creator - Paris Hilton. Well, for a start, I would hardly place her in the "sophisticated" category of women, and the perfume proves this. I think the perfume is more fun, and playful than sophisticated. It's very fruity and yet woody at the same time. It's almost as though there are too many smells in one bottle!
On first application, the perfume is soooooo overpowering! It takes about 20 minutes before it reduces to a nice, light perfume. It's very fruity, you can definately smell the apple and peach which make a great combination, but then it's as if a few floral smells have been added as an afterthought. It's a bit odd, to be honest, as if she has just picked a handful of different ideas and thrown them together. It's not a bad scent, but it's a bit fussy, yet light.
I tend to wear this when I'm fancying a change or when my other perfumes have run out. It's not one I would run out and buy again in a panic if I ever ran out. I think it's more a perfume you would give a 13 year old girl though, only a little bit pricier! You know what I mean, when you were dressing up as a child and any old make up and perfume would do!
Another thing I noticed, was that you would need to re-apply this scent often. For a perfume that was so overpowering on first application, it tends to fade quickly. Normally, I wouldn't mind but it's not really worth the money, and you'd use it very quickly if you decided to use this everyday!

I wouldn't say it was awful, but I wouldn't say it was particulary great either. Obviously, everyone wears their perfume differently, and this may appeal to some, but to me, it wasn't anything overly spectacular. Not what you'd expect from a girl like Paris Hilton. I bet she doesn't wear her own scent either!

I would strongly suggest testing this perfume before buying it! It's not awful, but it's not all that nice! Sorry Paris, but you definately haven't excelled yourself!
