Upon applying a few squirts of the fragrance it is bursting with a sweet, cloying juice that reminds me of jelly ... ...undertones of sumptious white lily and mimosa.
After you get past this initial 'bubble gummy' phase during which most of the alcohol evaporates, the scent gets rounder and more flowery - like a bowl of fruit cocktail you left out on the table in a hot, summer garden. Still quite powerful and fruity but less over the top girly.
I have got a sample of this from Boots and it has been lying around in my sample collection. A budding biochemist passionate about perfume chemistry, I regularly sample scents let it be celebrity or not, samples or my own bottles, ladies' or men's, it picks my fancy nevertheless.
The packaging
The clear bottle of Heiress has a young and very girly look. It's square, tall and has a sparkling pink strip on the inside of the back panel. It also has a mirror along the back of the bottle. The fragrance
Top notes: orange, mimosa, passionfruit, peach
Upon applying a few squirts of the fragrance it is bursting with a sweet, cloying juice that reminds me of jelly sweets that children eat. It's overly fruity with powdery, floral undertones of sumptious white lily and mimosa.
After you get past this initial 'bubble gummy' phase during which most of the alcohol evaporates, the scent gets rounder and more flowery - like a bowl of fruit cocktail you left out on the table in a hot, summer garden. Still quite powerful and fruity but less over the top girly.
An hour or so later the heart notes become slightly soapy - powdery like an exotic fruit and flower pot-pourri where peach and honeysuckle are the main themes. My only gripe here is that the floral notes - especially honeysuckle which in a sophisticated fragrance would have been used more sparingly - are slightly overpowering and not quite complementing each thus tend to smother the senses.
Base notes: violet, musk
At the end of the middle phase which will last approximately 2.5 - 3 hours the overwhelmingly ripe and oozing summer notes start to mix with heavier, earthier tones of musk - surpisingly nice blend, I actually liked wearing this perfume at this point!
After about three hours the sexy, musky notes fade into a slightly soapy, powdery violet - again a nice finish - though it's very short lasting and in four hours time it will have almost completely evaporated. There are no substantially fixative base notes in the fragrance so will feel empty with just a whiff off the earthy-muskly sweetness staying behind.
Conclusion
Heiress is the third ladies' fragrance in Paris's range she first launched in 2004. It is a celebrity perfume and as such it reflects the celebrity's personality, attitude and lifestyle with an appeal to the younger consumer.
I personally would not wear Heiress and certainly would not recommend it for the office, but it can be still fun wearing it if you're young and outgoing. This scent would probably appeal more to teenagers or young women in their twenties.
The two major letdowns of this fragrance are that it only lasts a few hours and that it can only be appreciated when used sparingly.

...i guess a photo of Paris is quite suitable.Under this the box is black with shiny pink writing on it with the name of the perfume.
The bottle is quite basic.There is a cheap mirror on the back of the bottle which i think is pointless and the inside of the bottle has a pink sparkly strip.

I stumbled upon this scent last year and was hooked, despite it seemingly aimed at the younger end of the market. It has quite a 'girly', distinctive smell, reminding me of bubblegum, that lasts most of the day and it's probably one of those perfumes that you'll love or loathe!
The bottle is pretty enough to grace your dressing table and the box is sleek, black and glossy - all in all, a lovely innocent fragrance for the young, OR young at heart, to wear anytime. ...
