Are you interested in buying a used car? Do you need to consult a comprehensive guide? If you answered yes to both questions, look no further than Parker’s Used, New & Trade Car Price Guide! It covers almost all models sold in Britain over the last ten years and is veritable treasure trove of information.
It is billed by the publisher as Britain’s No. 1 Car Price Guide and says it has been trusted by Britain’s motorists for over 25 years. All the prices, data and specifications in the Guide are allegedly researched and compiled by a specialist, independent team of motor trade experts. The used car values are full updated monthly based on loads of real-life prices collected from the likes of forecourt sales, private vendors and auction results.
There are a number of sections in the Guide. These include p^^^^ How to use the Guide p^^^^ State of the Market p^^^^ Mileage Adjustment Chart p^^^^ Guide to Car Insurance p^^^^ Parker’s Car Check p^^^^ New Cars p^^^^ Buying a Used Car p^^^^ Buyer Beware: Stolen Cars p^^^^ Car Auction Directory p^^^^ New Car Price Guide p^^^^ Main Price Guide p^^^^ Prefix Letters / Abbreviations p^^^^ Useful Contacts p^^^^ Publisher / Subscription Details
The Information on New Cars is very helpful and provides price details, results of fuel tests , indicates the relevant Insurance groups and service intervals.
The Main Price Guide by model is again extremely detailed and useful. It provides information on road test verdicts, a history of the model, as well as prices. There are also some great tips on what to check for, e.g., front tyre wear on high mileage cars, occasional leaks from power steering system, and 1.6 engine sounds strained when pushed. The service interval and even the size of the model is presented in easily readable form.
This magazine has over 330 pages. This monthly publication is a great guide and it is wholeheartedly recommended by me.
