Every year I always get a cold no matter what I do to combat getting the virus and it has only been in the last couple of years that I’ve started to wear a scarf in the home to keep my throat constantly warm and to keep drinking water, so that the throat doesn’t dry out as much. One of the many products I keep in the medicine cupboard (aside from the many bottles of Calpol!) is cough medicine, not only for my children, but also for myself and husband. After trying a great many of the products on sale, I have finally found one that really does seem to work, though due to myself and my husband smoking we do find that this is the best due to its strength! Picture the scene if you will. At the time of writing this review I'm huddled on the sofa with my fleecy pj's on, a snuggle wrap, my feet are sat in a giant pink fluffy pig along with a microwave bean bag and I have a hot water bottle situated near my back as my bones are killing me! I bought a bottle of this a long time ago for a poorly cough. It came in a 100ml bottle which is brown with a lid that screws off, but I have none of it left now. The box tells you what dosage you need to take and this should be read very carefully before first taking it to ensure that it does not clash with any other medications you might be taking. The first time I used it I made sure I shook the bottle well beforehand to make sure everything was well mixed together.
