...This is a fabulous book. I don't own it personally, but share it with my neighbours, as they keep parots, which I have to look after.
Well, not anymore....
This book is incredibly confusing, I read it in the belief that it would teach me how to win one of my favourite online games "http://www.freegamesonline.dk/funnygames/insanegames/polly/index.php" Polly the kleptomaniac parrot. I soon discovered stabbing, netting, shooting and encouraging parrot homosexuality was wrong in the real world. Yet still that was too late..
Guide to owning a parrot teaches about how to own yourparrot, not how to get the perfect headshot whilst its in mid flight.
I beg of you, learn my lesson and do not buy this book.
However if you want to kill parrots i would reccommend this book...

Opening the dictionary, the first thing I can see is "contents". Contents? In a dictionary? Not surprising, that it only contains three lines -
Introduction
Dictionary and Thesaurus
Wordpower Guide
- but maybe a book without contents is no proper book.
Next comes the introduction to the book (does anybody ever read that?) and a short introduction into the structure of the dictionary and thesaurus entries.
Those, who have never worked with a dictionary before, will find them useful, everybody else doesn't have to pay any...
