Pat Rafter the Australian who lost last year’s to Agassi but this year somehow managed to beat him, in a game where it seemed as though Agassi would come out on top. But the player who performed badly last year due to injury showed why he is regarded as a top player.

Rafter never gave up, he hit back, and eventually won the game. He beat Agassi, the form man, this surely must mean he has a good chance of winning Wimbledon this year.

He has never won Wimbledon but has two grand slam titles, they are the US open titles which he won in 1997 and 1998, he is also very good in doubles and won the 1999 Australian grand slam. His highest ranking was two so he is a player that can play. Watching him yesterday, I saw so many good attributes of his, his serve is so deadly and can get him out of trouble. His other game is just as good like his volleying.

He is a right handed player with a good physical build, sometime he hits an odd careless shot but then comes up with a shot which just makes you say wow. He has reached the semi final of Wimbledon in two consecutive years. He is a threat, and who ever wins the other semi, will have to beat a class player if they want to lift the cup.

He is twenty nine years old and has been professional since 1990, I think this is best chance to win another grand slam, I’m sure he’ll give his opponent a good game on Sunday. A player that has the potential to win. He is another aussie who is good at their sport.
