Paul Mitchell Shampoo Number One, 300ml for just £4.49 now that has to be such a bargain, virtually £2 less than anywhere else I have seen it advertised.

Some say that shampoo is shampoo, that cut price shampoo is every bit as good as branded shampoo but I would stand my ground on this subject, when you wash your hair every day of the week then you have to use a good shampoo.

A 300ml bottle may not seem very large but if you think of it as being just over a half a pint then that makes you realise that you will get a good few washes from the contents of the bottle.
Whoever has designed the bottle is spot on, the pure white plastic bottle looks fresh and clean. One of those bottles that you wouldn't mind putting on show in your bathroom !

Our local hairdresser usually uses Paul Mitchell products, I have looked at them and walked past them thinking that the price tag was too hefty for my liking.

But the eBay bargain was too good to resist , click the button, accept the buy it now price and I would shortly be the owner of my very own bottle of Paul Mitchell Shampoo Number One.

The tall white plastic bottle holds some product information but the most outstanding part of the design is the makers name.

Paul Mitchell tells you on the packaging that the shampoo is soft and gentle, kind to all types of hair. Especially good for dedicated swimmers whose hair can be damaged by the chlorine in the swimming pool.
The shampoo is also recommended for coloured hair, I colour mine regularly and this is why the hairdresser uses this particular shampoo on my hair.

So the Paul Mitchell shampoo Number One offers a gentle formula, perfectly safe to use on coloured hair.
On the bottle it tells you that the shampoo is a blend of jojoba, henna, algae, aloe and rosemary and that all of these ingredients work together to add shine to your hair.
The shampoo also contains wheat derived conditioner and panthenol which both help to make your hair feel and look better.
The shampoo only contains mild soaps which makes it the ideal choice for everyday use.

First of all a little goes a very long way, no more that a drop makes a good lather. Whenever I am at the hairdressers I always ask her not to wash my hair twice, or it gets far too soft and then I can't manage it.
The shampoo does have a mild fragrance, maybe just a touch of citrus is identifiable. I am used to the smell and it is a fairly pleasant one. It only takes seconds to amass a good lather, the lather isn't quite as rich and creamy as some brands but it is still plentiful.
The lather is easily worked into the hair and I use a shower attachment to rinse it all out.
It rinses away quickly and at that point the hair feels no different at all, it is only when it starts to dry that you see the benefits.
I can dry my hair with the hairdryer and still manage to get it to style well, it feels soft and there is a reasonable shine there.

I managed to buy the product at a good price and I admit that I only bought one bottle !
If I had to pay the full RRP for it then I would have to think twice about the purchase but I will worry about that when this bottle is empty !
