Advantages leaves hair super sleek....lasts forever
Disadvantages price and feels greasy on hands
This is a review about a product I love and highly recommend to anyone with unruly, thick or coarse hair that they want to look sleek and straight or to define their curls.
I went to the hair salon last January to have a cut and blow dry for a friend's 30th birthday party, after all us ladies have got to look our best....Anyway I couldn't get an appointment at my usual salon so had to book another one which is known to be good but is slightly more expensive. The male stylist was great though, he talked me through what he was doing to my hair and then used this product on it before blowdrying, one pump of the bottle was enough for my below shoulder length hair!
I asked about the product but he didn't try to sell me it, he just said it was available to buy at £11.95 for a 150ml bottle. However when at the end of the evening out my hair was still sleek and straight instead of my usual frizzy mess (caused my moisture in air) I was very impressed and went back to salon a couple days later and purchased a bottle.
Now when you consider I have had this bottle for almost a year and it is still half full, and i use this product almost every day, then this is really excellent value for money. You do only need one pump for a full head of hair. My hair is thick and well below shoulder length now and this still manages to keep it under control! The bottle itself is a clear see through plastic bottle with a green pump and the words PAUL MITCHELL emblazoned vertically up the front. It is called Super Skinny Serum and it really is Super!
It claims to.......
This is best used before blow drying your hair, simply towel dry hair, squirt one pump into your hands and rub together (the serum feels rather greasy and thick, but not at all sticky) then smooth through your hair, combing it through from root to ends. Be warned though your hands will feel greasy so best to wash them before picking up hairdryer.....
This is best used with the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny shampoo and conditioner which are around £8 each in the salon. I wash my hair about 3 times a week though so this can prove quite expensive for me, so i tend only to buy this only when i can afford to.
I have been surfing the net to try get some cheaper prices than salon recently and have come up with lookfantastic.com which are charging £9.78 but they also charge for p&p £2.65 so works out more expensive. This is the cheapest i have seen it on the net so may be worth just getting it from your salon.Paul Mitchell products have been around since 1979 when John Paul DeJoria and Paul Mitchell decided to launch their own professional hair care system.

Sounds good - I'd like less frizzy hair so might have to check it out. Emma :)
