I bought the shampoo when I was suffering from itchyness and flakiness last winter and even head and shoulders didnt seem to cure it. I know teatree is an antibacterial and lavender is oil balancing so i decided paulmitchell's teatree range is the best for me. The main detergent is ammonium laureth sulphate which is very strong detergent and can on very sensitive scalps cause tightness, dryness and irritation - another group of people I would ask to avoid the range.

TeaTree seems to work wonders for everything with me and there are a range of different products that contain this essential oil to perform different healing properties.
TeaTree is a clear, very strong natural oil taken from the leaves of a plant called the 'Melaleuca alternifolia' along the streams (er, and swamps) in Australia. You can buy it in concentrated form (albeit very expensive as you can imagine) but most product such as shampoo's. lotions and antispetics which contain low does of teatree still work wonders. I will point out just to cover my own back, that despite the label of 'tea', this oil is non-ediable!
