**Introduction**
This is my first fragrance review for a while and I have chosen to review a very popular fragrance, Paul Smith for Men. I had used a tester of this fragrance many times whilst I was in Boots and Debenhams but had never actually bought one due to the price compared to other fragrances which I prefered and I have bought a wide range of fragrances over the years. Here is my review of Paul Smith's popular fragrance for Men. This is the first Paul Smith fragrance I have used.
**The Bottle**
I feel that The bottle is a more important feature than you might think, Nobody wants a fragrance that has a weird gastly looking bottle. I like the design of the bottle it's like the Calvin Klein Eternity fragrance. The difference is that the Paul Smith fragrance is a nice green colour whereas the Calvin Klein Eternity is a kind of pale yellow colour. I feel that this Paul Smith fragrance looks eye catching on the shelf with it's light green tint. One of the best looking fragrance bottles at the moment.
**The Smell**
I am very impressed with the smell of this fragrance. It's a very cool, casual fragrance that opens with top notes of citrus spicy, with a combination of Bergamot, Brazilian Orange, Lavander, Basil and Cardamom. These top notes will blend into the middle notes after a couple of hours and they result in a fragrance that blends a peppery Green Fig and Violet Leaves together with a trace of Hyacinth and a strong scent of Geranium. After another couple of hours the fragrance will blend and will result in a woody scent of Oriental Wood, Oakmoss, Vetiver, Sandalwood and Biomusk. This results in a very refreshing overall fragrance which will last well for around six hours before it starts to lose it's freshness.
** It's Use**
This is a versatile fragrance as you can use it for daytime wear as much as you can use it for nights out. If you were going to only wear it for one of those then I would have to say that it would be slightly better for daytime wear as it's light clean freshness is great for a nice summers day. It is a pretty versatile fragrance however.
**Stockists**
As with most popular fragrances you will be able to find this one just about anywhere that sells fragrances. At the moment there is an offer in Boots which has Paul Smith for men at £14.51 for a 30ml bottle of the fragrance. You will also be able to find the fragrance at low prices in a number of the biggest fragrance stores in the high street and shopping centres. As usual at this time of year you can also pick up a gift set which features the fragrance along with Paul Smith for Men All Over Shampoo 75ml. You can buy this package for £25.94 in Boots and you will get a 50ml bottle of the eau de toilette with that gift set.
**Overall**
I am impressed with this fragrance, whilst it is not as good as many of the competitors it is still a very nice smelling fragrance which will suit a lot of men and will impress as many women with it's clean, fresh scent. Whilst it's on offer it might be worth picking up the 30ml version to find out for yourself. Against the competition it's Not quite worthy of five stars but a very decent fragrance all the same.
Advantages: Not too overpowering, pleasant. Disadvantages: plunger feels cheap.
This Paul Smith fragrance come as part of a set along with a container of Paul Smith shower Gel (or 'all over body shampoo', as the fashion seems to be at the moment).
The product comes in the usual square, minimalistic Paul Smith glass bottle with a glass screw on lid.
I have found that after a while the lid no longer screws on correctly and tends to just clip onto the top. This may have something to do with the seemingly poor quality suirty plunger ... ...a simple 'twist on' lid might be more appropriate.
The plunger is made of plastic and the directional spay can be hard to locate at times because it's exactly the same colour as the rest of the plunger, in poor light this becomes a bit of an issue that can lead to spraying the product all over the bathroom!
The product itself is green in colour and is fresh and pleasant smelling, and not too over-powering. The smell of the product is retained for ...

Advantages: Pleasant and refreshing scent Disadvantages: Not suitable for evening
Paul Smith is one of my favourite designers, I love his attention to detail and quirks found on all his clothes. When I learnt that he had brought out a new fragrance for men, I was naturally intrigued to try it.
I bought a 50ml bottle for around thirty pounds. The packaging was very Paul Smith, a grey cardboard box encased in green cellophane. The bottle was a clever design, rectangular in shape, with only the front panel being coloured green. ... ...to work, or just when you're going out duiring the day or for any occasion when you want the smell to be in the background. It is not sickly, and is inobtrusive.
Like everything Paul Smith, you have to appreciate the subtle touches to truly understand the product. ...

Advantages: Different Exclusive Disadvantages: only available from Boots
Who is Paul Smith? I came across this great new smell this first week in August in Boots The Chemist. The green cellophane wrapped box instantly caught my attention; standing out from the array of men's standards. Who is Paul Smith I asked? The consultant admitted that she did not know who he is but asked me to try a sample of the eau de toilette, from the luminous lime green bottle. I was pleasantly suprised by the freshness and delicacy of the fragrance. The ...

Advantages: Good value, smells great Disadvantages: Costs money
Paul Smith Original (this one) - For Men, is my personal favourite when it comes to Eau de Toilette. Not only is it amazing in its smell and guaranteed to get you noticed and complimented, it also doesn't break the bank. In boots you can buy a 50 ml (as seen in picture) pot of this stuff for about £16, which really isn't bad when you compare it to other such fragrances.
The bottle/pot and packaging are also very cool and it will make a nice item ...

Advantages: Lasts a long time, not too overpowering, reasonable price Disadvantages: None that I can think of.
I was bought a bottle of PaulSmith London by my girlfriend around 11 months ago and it has become one of my favourite aftershaves.
PaulSmithPaulSmith produce many items, perfumes being just one of them. They have a fair range of fragrances that they produce such as PaulSmith Extreme, PaulSmith and PaulSmith London. Here I will be reviewing my bottle of PaulSmith London.
Packaging
This aftershave comes in a cardboard tube which is blue. It has PaulSmith London written across the front and back. If you look very closely at the box, there is actually a map of London embossed very lightly in the background of the tube which is very clever.
The tube pulls apart about an inch from the bottom and once opened, the aftershave bottle stands in a little display which is inside the tube.
The bottle itself is dark blue in ...
Advantages: Good value for money, long lasting, for all occasions, everyday, fresh Disadvantages: Does not stand out, not 'girly' enough for all tastes
Launch date: 2002
Available: in stores / online
Top Notes: Freesia, Mandarin,
Middle Notes: Blackcurrant, Heliotrope
Base Notes: Cedar, Sandalwood, Amber, Modern Musk
I bought Extreme as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend's sister-in-law, someone I only vaguely know. I was looking for something fresh, unobtrusive but still floral and feminine enough for her to like it.
The bottle
The reason I found this perfume in the shops is because of its packaging. The mainly yellow-orange-red wavy lines throughout the front and the two sides of the box catch the eye immediately. The clear bottle is simply cut, squared with PaulSmith Extreme written at the bottom left corner of in the unmistakable signature logo. The cool waves appear again on the left hand side of the bottle - why not at the back I do not know - it gives ...

Advantages: The durability.. Disadvantages: Sometimes a little overpowering
of £35
75ml is around £45-50
Despite this is does have a lost lasting ability so is well worth the money you pay for the perfume. Though by scouting round the internet the prices are a little varied and you could get a bargain for a gorgeous smelling perfume.
