This is going to make me sound like a real snob but i am not i promise, when i was younger in my teenage years my mother would drag me along to a carboot sale every sunday morning, i absolutley hated it, for one it was sunday morning and in a teenagers world that doesnt exist and secondly why would i want to buy second hand junk that no one else wanted?
Well this all changed after i left home and moved to a little town with a market hall that had carboot sales every tuesday, friday and saturday.
I have had some great bargains from car boot sales, i am still a bit of a snob as i wont uy second hand shoes or clothes but a lot of my ornaments came from carboot sales as anyone with children wil know expensive ornaments are a definate no no, you dont mind so much when it gets broken if you have only paid 50p for it.

Also, if you're a buyer, you must remember to try and haggle. Even if an item is being sold for a great price, you should try and knock some off. These people are wanting to get rid of their rubbish, and you can definitely benefit from this.
At most car boot sales there's car parking, and are mostly sign posted as they are big events, so you should know when they are happening.
One important thing to remember is that you do have to pay to get into them. For buyers, it's normally a couple of pound, and for seller's it's normally £10 for a car, and £15 for a van. A bit unfair, but the owner of the field has to make their money someway.

As both my parents and I prepare to move into our new homes within the next month we have come to realise that there is a lot of extra items that we no longer need so in order to make some extra money I decided to have a car boot sale or rather attend one of the local car boot sales to sell the items.
Car boot sales are generally easy to find and are held at various venues both indoor and outdoor but the more popular locations are outdoor in the early spring continuing through the summer.
It is not difficult to organise your own car boot sale however you do have to complete the relevant research :-
1st Find a popular location located to a busy shopping centre then you will find a lot of people will visit, make sure that the area you choose is easily accessible for both motorists and pedestrians.
