When you reach the end of the game (dependant on how many months you agreed at the start) the person with the most money left after paying all their bills and paying off any loans (there are always loans and interest) wins.
One tip: Do not agree to play for more than 3 months ... ...add another month but if you agreed to play for 10 months your kids will make sure you play for 10 months and it will feel like 10 real months by the time the end comes.
Its great fun and a good lesson in life for the children and provides an entertaining few hours for a dad and his kids.

The idea is this; the board is layed out as a series of days in one month, you decide at the begining how many months you are going to play, each player starts the first month with £5000 and throws a dice to move onwards. During the course of the month they will encounter all sorts of situations which may cost them money - NEW FAMILY PET PAY £300 or FOOD FOR THE MONTH PAY £600 - or they may be lucky and collect money - WIN THE POOLS £5000 or HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLLECT £100 FROM EACH PLAYER, the players will also have the opportunity to buy and sell businesses or collect payment from other players for services provided such as - WALKING THE DOG or MAKING A WEDDING CAKE. There are also, as in real life, BILLS, these bills are collected throughout the month and can make or break all participants.
At the end of the month each player has their PAYDAY, they collect their wages and pay off all or part of there bills, again as in real life any outstanding amounts have interest charged on them.
Working out monthly finances and calculating profit and loss may not seem like fun to kids but the game has many features dependant on the throw of a dice and other features where the person winning can be brought down to earth with a big bill. This adds to the fun and ensures that all players old or young have a chance to win.
The money is easy to use and the instructions for playing the game are straight forward and easy to follow. Cards used during the game are clear and precise so that any child from 8 upwards would have no problems starting and playing with other children of their own age. Payday is a game for between 2 and 6 players to play and from ages 8 to Adult. The object of the game like so many of this type is to make as much money as possible in the time limit.
The board is made up of a typical month in the life of a normal human being with 31 days and various pitfalls and good fortune in each of the days. At the start of the game everyone agrees on how long you want to make the game I suggest no longer than 6 months as if ... ...pot.
Overall i thought Payday was a very enjoyable exciting experience which i have played many time since recieving it. I am however unsure how well an 8 year old would understand how to play it fully because with loans and interest available and needing to keep money back for certain bills might make it too difficult for them to understand. Advantages: great, fun game, educational and easy to play Disadvantages: is there any? oh yer the cards can get muddlled up easy thats it!

The winner is the one with the most money of course thats if you have it!!
I think its good for children over about 8 as they get to learn how to deal with money and how hard it is in real life. I recommend this game to anyone its great fun.

Advantages: good family game Disadvantages: get quite bored of it after a while
I got this game for christmas a few years back but I thought I'd write an opinion on it as Iofund it today hidden under my bed (lol)
The game is about paying bills and seeing how much money you end up with at the end of the month. The board is set out in weeks but four of them to represent a month. On these days of the week it tells you to either pick up a post or pay some money to charity etc. Every tuesday or wednesday it's the lottery and you ... ...number.
When the moth is over or how ever many months you stop the game and count up how much money each player has and who ever has the most amount of money wins the game. The game can up to 6 players is quite good as a family game. ...

Given as a birthday present this game is aimed at children 8 years and up but has given hours of entertainment for the whole family including our four year old son. The game involves using your money to pay you bills and trying you luck with investing. It has helped enomously with counting skills and has even helped with encouraging the children to save their pocket money and give to charity. Advantages: Interesting board game everyone seems to like Disadvantages: Takes a while to set up
, each player starts by choosing one of the six coloured cars, mentioned above, and places a blue or pink peg in the drivers seat, blue for male, pink for female. You then have to decide whether or not to go to university. If you do choose to go to university you have a chance to get a much better job than if you take the business route however the board is slightly longer this way so you don't get off to as good a start as the others. Once you have a job, every time you land on or pass a payday you receive your salary, however much it may be.
Not long after qualifying at your new career, you get married, this is compulsory, and you place another peg in your car, blue or pink again depending on what you have married!! Advantages: A fun filled family board game Disadvantages: Helps if you like the Simpson's
Even though we now live in a computer and console dominated world my boys still love an old fashioned board game. Don't get me wrong they love their X-box but are just as happy to play monopoly, payday, cluedo and a range of the new DVD board games that are taking up space in their bedroom!
My eldest actually got this game for his birthday last year; both my boys are big fans of the Simpson's so when he saw this game advertised he wanted it. As I usually end up having to referee between them when they play these games it also needs to be a game that I would enjoy! I prefer faster paced games that are also fun and do not have to many complicated rules, not that I am thick or anything but my youngest loses interest very quickly so I need to be able to hold his attention.

So where is this all going you may well ask and more importantly what has it got to do with Huggies nappies in particular.
Well the point I'm trying to get across is that Huggies are not only an extremely generous fit but that the sizes do actually last for a long time. As I said my son started wearing the maxi nappies when he was ten months old. He is now 17 months old and I am still able to buy him the same size.
He advanced from rolling to crawling, to standing, then to walking around the furniture and still no leaks. He goes to bed at 9pm and sleeps right through until 7am the following morning. He wakes up dry and happy and I have so much confidence in these nappies that I give him his breakfast before I even think about changing him.
