Twin Peaks

Advantages: The most original, mind-blowing TV series of all time
Disadvantages: None

and the plot, hopefully without giving any of it away for those of you who have somehow missed out on this. FBI agent Dale Cooper (played brilliantly by Kyle McLachlan) is sent out to a remote logging community not far from the border with Canada, to investigate the death of local teen Laura Palmer whose body was found in the lake. What he finds in Twin Peaks, however, goes far far deeper than this, and soon he finds himself not only investigating the murder and trying to find out who, out of a bewildering array of suspects, could have done this, but also finding himself being dragged deeper and deeper into the murky intrigues, plans and plots of Twin Peaks' colourful residents. Coronet Peak Tandem paragliding: fly like a bird

Advantages: Flying, exciting
Disadvantages: A bit dangerous, expensive

On my recent holiday to New Zealand, I decided to try a variety of adventurous and adrenaline sports. I started off with the fairly easy and accessible ones and worked up to the scarier ones. By the time I finished my holiday, in Queenstown, I had a spare day before I left and was ready to try something a little bit more "hardcore". The cost This isn't a cheap activity, even by the standards of New Zealand adrenaline sports. Paragliding cost NZD$179 (which was about £85) for what was scheduled to be a half day activity, but turned out to be a couple of hours more than that. Included in that is ...

The Peak of Fitness

Advantages: Good classes, excellent customer service
Disadvantages: No pool

would join a gym without cardio theatre - I just wouldn't go! They have about 6 different channels including MTV, Sky News, Sky Sports 1, ITV, BBC1 although if there's not many people in the gym the staff are happy to change the channels for you if you're desperate to watch the bowls on BBC2... When you join the gym the staff will give you an induction on how to use the machines. They will also write a programme for you so you can keep track of your progress. The programmes are stored in a filing box in the gym area for you to refer to whenever you like. They will also happliy give you more excersises to do if you feel you're not being challenged enough. Not something I ask for! **Classes** Peak Fitness runs a range of Les Mills designed classes including BodyPump, BodyBalance, Yoga, Pilates, Fitball, Spin, LB&T, Step, Curcuits ...
