Advantages: Good features! Low cost! Disadvantages: none
The Peavy Bandit112 is a fantastic amp for the money! When i was looking for a good gigging amp i done my research, i looked at ALL the amps in this price range and this won hands down!! I have been playing for around 15 years and owned amps from Marshalls, Fenders etc and this holds up against them all at a fraction of the price! The range of tones you can get with this are pretty diverse but will mainly suit the guitarst looking for the SRV, Bluesbreakers sound so basically a rock blues guitarist. The PeaveyBandit is made to look like an old tube amp which i personally love, if your a lead player this amp is particularly good as it cuts through when you need it. The features are good on the Bandit, A nice reverb can be selected plus a boost feature which really thickens up your sound and a wide selection of overdrive selection from ...
Advantages: versatile Disadvantages: lack of bass response
the bandit112 is a good beginners amp and should be able to deliver all styles of sounds.the tube amp emulation is quite impressive as it added a lot of warmth and fattness to overdriven tones.for blues players the amp might seem a bit wimpy especially if you are trying to emulate stevie ray vaughan and hendrix, the bass response is a bit dissapointing and the roland bc60 outperformed the bandit in this regard.country pickers will enjoy the clean channels sparkling tone and the reverb is also quite usable
heavy metal players are not going to like this amp for the lack of bass, though mind you the amp is pretty loud and ideally suited for small clubs and pubs.on the whole if you want a versatile amp with lots of volume then go for it but be warned that dropped d tunings are just not going to sound nice on this amp and blues chops ...

Advantages: brilliant sound Disadvantages: very heavy
I have been playing guitar for little over a year now and this amp is simply fantastic!I have gigged with it at our schools rock night as well as practiced with it in my bedroom. The special peavey super saturation function is really effective for adding gain to your sound but not simply recieving a lot of noise. As well as this the amp comes with what you'd expect. There are the standard equalizer and volume controls as well as a 2 channel selector.in my case the amp also came with a two way effect switch pedal which easily plugs into the back of the amp.
all in all this is an impressive amp with a brilliant sound for most types of music. Great for any musical occasion. ...
Considered by many to be the hottest little amp in its price range the Peavey Bandit 112 features a vintage/classic/warm switch on the clean channel and a classic/modern high gain switch on the lead channel that totally change its tonal character. Its like having 6 amps in one!
