When I was investigating which PA speakers to invest in, Peavey were the ones that everyone I know seemed to recommend. I tried out a few pairs (which I will review on here in time) but these are the ones I bought so I will start with these.
The Pro-12 is from Peavey's 'MessengerPro' range of speakers and, as speakers go, they are pretty good to look at. They are not massive and, according to the manual, they are 22.6" high, 16.3" wide and 14" deep. I won't argue with that. They are fairly easy to carry as they have well placed and comfortable handles on both sides of the speaker unit. I wouldn't like to carry them very far as they are quite heavy. Its quite easy to get them mounted onto speakers stands which is something that I think is very very important.

I have already reviewed the PeaveyPRO-12 speakers, which, for all purposes are the little brothers of these, the PeaveyPRO-15. I will do my best not to make this review a comparison piece but I will apologise in advance if, at times, it seems I am compariong the two.
As with all Peavey products, these are high quality in build, design and audio output. The speaker cabinet is protected by strong black carpet, something which seems to be the norm when discussing professional speakers. The dimensions of these speakers are 25.6" high, 18.1" wide and 15.4" deep. Not huge, you'll agree, but big enough to make an impact wherever you set them up.
