Advantages: Jog wheel, tempo changing, cueing, loops, Disadvantages: Price can be expensive depending on where you purchase from
...My flight case DJ setup is currently 2 of these cd players with a pionner djm-500 mixer in the middle (in which i have also reviewed). All linked to together as pionner DJ equipment they work really well. The mixing is very easy to do, the cd player offer a range of features alone such as tempo changing, loop, cueing and play/pause. You also have a jog wheel to cue in your headphones the beat dead-on. And when hitting the play/pause button the track will start very fast from the point in which you have cueed from. The set up is very good DJ equipment and sounds very good with the right amp and speakers. Id reccommend speakers from JBL, and subs from Peavey, as-well as amps from peavey (either 500 watt or 1000watt). I would strongly reccommend this cd player to be part of any DJ's set up, any advice on what products to buy for DJ...

Advantages: Huge storage space compared to flash based players, much more functional Disadvantages: Batteries die so fast, hard to keep music organised.
...the country side with the tunes on full blast. The batterys wernt charged so i headed out via the garage to pick up some normal new ones. 20 mins into my cruise the stupid thing ran out of batteries! I was gobsmacked! It eats batteries like godzilla ate people.
Not only taht, theres a lovely remote control IR port on the front which was never activated and used.
Plus my pc's hard drive broke, so when i got a new one and went to copy my collection back to my PC, i found that i couldnt! A few months of waiting and a software update came out to allow me to copy back again.
The support creative gives is rubbish. Have you ever tried e-mailing them? Ul b there till xmas.
In the end i made up a 12v adapter which runs from the cig lighter socket to the back of the player to power it when iam in the car. Its worked perfectly for the last year...

Advantages: Great range of high and low bass, looks great in silver Disadvantages: none
...I bought mine for £40 from halfords. I have it hooked up to a sony 600w amp and it gives superb bass and adds a new dimension to your music. I built my own box from MDF rather than buy a £40+ box from a shop. The sub is an enclosed type subwoofer meaning it works best in an air-tight box without any holes. The sub can take alot of punishment and after owning mine for about a year it still sounds as good as new. I have a mate with a pioneer 12'' and a jbl 12''. The sony sub sounds alot better than the jbl but I would say its on a par with the pioneer, however the pioneer does retail for £20 more than the sony so value for money wis the sony 12'' is the best bet....

I have been playing guitar for little over a year now and this amp is simply fantastic!I have gigged with it at our schools rock night as well as practiced with it in my bedroom. The special peavey super saturation function is really effective for adding more
