My little puppy, Chester, is only 14 weeks old but he is incredibly intelligent. At 8 weeks, he could sit and give paw. At 10 weeks he could lie down, roll over, beg, fetch and was house trained. He loves playing - all day long! He would get his ball and bring it back to you over and over again but you would just throw it, it would bounce and he would catch it and bring it back, drop it at your feet and so we go again.
I was on the hunt for something a little more challenging for him when I saw this funny, blue, four legged thing which said on the packet
Priced at £3.69 I thought it was a little more expensive than some of the other toys but bought it anyway in the hope it would give us a change from the normal play. It says it comes in assorted colours but they only had it in blue but thats ok because my puppy is a little boy anyway!!
It has four 'legs', 2 of which have ridges, the other 2 have kind of little 'bumps' and is made of very hard rubber. When I got it home and got it out of the packet , I left it lying on the floor while I read all the packaging and when I looked up - Chester was away with it! He was chewing it happily in the garden! My daughter gave it the first throw and sure enough - it bounced "erratically" about and
Chester bouncing all over the place trying to catch it! With his other toys, he can throw them in the air but this one he cant do that because of its awkward shape, although he loves to chew it!!!
Any way when you throw the Quadra and it hits the ground (better on a hard surface) it goes all over the place. Chester is used to a run and a little jump but not this time! He runs, goes to catch it, turns one way, then other, then another! He kind of does a little hop, skip and jump - its sooo funny. The only problem is that when he does catch it (eventually), he doesnt want to bring it back because he knows its much harder to get again!
Another good thing with the Quadra is that you can throw it much further than an ordinary ball or toy because of the legs on it you can get a good grip. This is especially good at the big beach where we live although not so good when he cant find it or cant get a good grip on it and doesnt bring it back and I have to go find it -

Chester's a brilliant name! I've never heard of this toy before but you've convinced me (and the girls) to get one. Thanks.
