The PS1500M uses dramatically less energy than other computers and emits almost no heat. Compared to a traditional tower desktop with a 200-watt power supply, the PS1500M draws only 45 watts. In power-saving mode, the PS1500M draws only 10-15 watts - about as much as a night light. The computer emits so little heat that the internal fan used to cool it is virtually silent. This makes it a superior choice for applications where computers must run unnoticed in the background.
...I have used this laptop now for quite some time and have come over hardly any difficulties with it! For its size its a very good and fast little tablet! With its own sensitive screen you can use the tablet pen to be your mouse and turn it into 'tablet mode'. The screen is very sensitive and the pixels very easily get damaged. Their is no cd/dvd at all supplied with it but then again, its got so much to offer!

Advantages: Sleek, easy, fast Disadvantages: Not the lightest
...This is a sound investment for anyone.
The machine is so easy to use that it would be perfect for a first-timer. At the same time, it has everything the more advanced user requires.
It comes with Windows XP, MSN messenger and all the usual programmes.
The on-screen style and layout are very clear, making the system simple.
This laptop installs all new hardware (printers, scanners) with complete ease, which is handy for those of us who get angry when technology goes wrong!
The machine is strong and very durable. I think mine will stay in shape and style for many years to come.
The retail price is around £1,300. Look out for a second hand one as it will probably be in an 'as new' state....

...Ultra portable laptop, really impress with it. My brother got it a few months back, and the laptop is really good. A bit slow but the style and looks are really amazing. It has a 11.1inch screen which may be small for some people but for the laptop and its looks, it's really good. Its a really portable laptop, just bigger than A5 and i guarantee your that you wont be able to tell your holding a laptop. I've never seen anything which is so good as small as this laptop. Would recommend this laptop to anybody who wants to buy it and it's worth the money if your after the style and looks. But performance isn't really good. Thanks....

I for one, absolutely love the look of this acer. The bottom of the laptop just looks really cool, and the top looks ok too. One only criticism on the look, would be that the plastic at the tip of the screen is a little thick, but then again it does have more

I bought mine on ebay for £360, I needed it for university study and it's working really well for small documents like word and excel and it will also play some games well, mainly Unreal Tournament online :-)

This really is what it says it is - Toshiba, the mark of quality and reliability, and Portege, meaning it is portable. The Toshiba Portege is an excellent laptop.
