Advantages: Very user friendly, cost effective and smart looking. Disadvantages: Quite heavy, short battery life and lack of ports at rear.
...problem with portability is that the weight which lets it down. It has a very durable and outer case, which is probably the cause of the weight.
It is a very easy laptop to use and you can adapt to it almost instantly. The only letdown with the ease of use is that the windows key (normally found in the bottom left) is situated in the top right. I find this particularly annoying and after a few months of use have just about got used to it. There are also a few other keys, which couldn’t be change because it is a laptop. With the laptop I use there was no paper instruction booklet but there is an instruction manual on disk and the laptops hard disk.

...This bag is designed for laptops and small amounts of work folders
Size & Price
---------------
The bag dimensions are H32 x W45 x D15cm and it costs £50 from John Lewis
Laptop Compatibility
--------------------------
This carry case is large enough to hold any size laptop, apart from the large widescreen ones. I carry an IBM Thinkpad in mine with power cable and mouse with no problems.

Advantages: Price, generic design, ease of use Disadvantages: Limited life

I was in a rush to find a solution to take photos in the water during a surfing holiday but proprietary cases are very expensive so wanted a stop gap until I could do my research. I came across this generic case which suited my internal lens camera perfectly. Initially I was concerned by the small overlap at the seal but following the instructions I used it in the water all week with no leakage. During use any water over the lens will blur photos so I found a process of dunking the case in the water again shifted droplets for clear pictures. The soft blue plastic sections enable all control use. Things to watch don't open at the beach as sand in the seal might damage it, watch out if the silicate crystal pack tears and the clear plastic will scuff with sand...
