Ultra Pro Deck Protectors:
As some of you will now know, I am a huge fan of the collectable card game, (CCG), Magic the Gathering, (MTG). Basically MTG is a game that requires you to build a ?deck? of 60 cards to play against other people?s decks. The cards can be very expensive but they are easily damaged by shuffling and of course the dreaded ?hand grease?. Once again though the great people at Ultra Pro have a product that is perfect for protecting your cards.
Now you may think card sleeves are a simple creature; made of plastic and big enough to fit a card in, job done, but in reality it?s not quite that simple. Cheap deck protectors, (they cost about £1.00 for a hundred), are often slightly too big and become oddly baggy with use. This is a problem as it makes it hard to hold the cards and especially hard to shuffle them. Ultra ...
I watched this film last night and was motivated to write a review of it as not many people know what it's about.
‘The Pelican Brief ‘is based on the book by John Grisham.
It is a really well made film, which builds up tension so well and has you at the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next.

Thomas is killed by a car bomb and Darby soon realises it was meant to kill her.
This of course means her theory must be ...
Advantages: Story Disadvantages: Sometimes a little unrealistic
This is the third John Grisham book I've read in a month. I reckon its the best too. They're all so different as well, which is pretty amazing because I thought law was pretty much all the same. Oh well. This story starts with the rather professional assassination of two Supreme Court Justices. One was a 91 year old that everyone hated, so that one was obvious, but the other one didn't seem to be particularly radical or hated. So, the White House, the FBI and the CIA get in a bit of a flap.
Then Darby Shaw, a brilliant law student in New Orleans skips classes for four days searching for a solution. I gather she's a bit of a bird as well. Well, she writes up her findings in a brief - the Pelican Brief - and shows it to her Professor Thomas Callahan - who she happens to be nailing - and although she dismisses it, he gives it to a friend ...
