Advantages: Great build quality, easy to use and good picture quality. Disadvantages: No image stabalisation and no wide angle capability in the lens.
rather than great quality because if you want great quality then quite simply you need a DSLR not a point and shoot.
Pentax are one of the original so called big 5, the 5 best known names in the camera market, along side the likes oc Canon, Nikon, Olympus and the now collapsed Minolta which has recently been taken over by Sony, well not exactly taken over but Sony design their DSLR cameras around the old Minolta workings which allows the old Minolta lenses to work on the new Sony bodies, anyhow, I digress.
Pentax having been around for so long have seen and done it all and it shows in this great little point and shoot camera, it has 10 megapixels (more than enough), a 5Xzoom (more than enough) and it offers some great user settings that will keep even the most avid amateur very happy and what's more it actually produces images that ...

Advantages: easy to use, excellent stability Disadvantages: wind block doesn't cut out all the wind noise, very sensitive mic
It was a toss up between the Sony TRV22/TRV33 or something a lot cheaper that just does the job.
I settled for the Panasonic NVGS11b which offered all the basic features eg stability, windcut, photo to tape, colour night shot, dv out for computer editing and the best thing was the 24x optical zoom..
At first glance the camcorder is small and easy to hold even for my wife who has small hands. It has a colour LCD screen which opens out and can rotate to the front, black and white view finder and the tape loading mechanism is at the top so if you use a tripod you don't need to undo the camcorder whilst changing tapes. The zoom is easily operated using your first or second finger and can be locked at 24X optical, 60 X digital or 800 X digital.
In my opinion the zoom was useless after 170 because everything became pixelated but ...
Advantages: Small size, great range of sounds, price, well built Disadvantages: Lack of included AC adapter, expression pedal isn't the best
Having played around with a number of different pedals for my Bass, I came across the Zoom B1X Multi FX Pedal, and though "this could be it." The main thing that stood out to me was the small size, and the fact that it would replace four items (tuner, another Multi FX, Chorus, and volume pedal) into just one, fairly small pedal. I paid £55 for mine, buying it on eBay, so it is really affordable. Since buying it, I have used it on a number of gigs and in my practice rig at home, and so have got a fair bit of use out of it.
Advantages
I think that (for the cost) the B1X offers a great range of different sounds, and you have a lot of control over the sound you produce. I have found that I prefer to create my own presets (of which you can create 40) rather than the supplied presets (40), though they aren't that bad either. There ...
