Advantages: Lightweight, good range of features, easy to use, decent zoom, literally pocket sized, good quality photos Disadvantages: A bit fiddly for big fingers, no film in pack, not weatherproof

The price was very good too, being about £60 cheaper than high street prices at £148.

However, the picture quality is excellent, the best I have seen from a compact (I'm basing this on my limited use so far, all indoor flash photography - once I've taken some outdoor photos, I'll update this review.)

The camera is small and lightweight, perhaps a little too small for large hands, as you have to be careful not to cover the flash with your finger as you use it.
However, the picture quality is excellent, the best I have seen from a compact (I'm basing this on my limited use so far, all indoor flash photography - once I've taken some outdoor photos, I'll update this review.)
Features are fairly standard include the obligatory redeye reduction, easy to use autofocus, several different manual focus modes and a panoramic mode, unusual in 35 mm compacts. The zoom works well, and most importantly, quickly, reaching 115mm in a about 2 seconds. The display is backlit for night time use.
Cameras I've bought in the past have come equipped out of the box to use straight away. This is no exception. However, I do think that a film could have been included. (Maybe this is a standard thing now, but it would be nice.)
If you are looking for a basic zoom compact with no major frills, but with a few nifty little extras, then this could be what you're looking for. It's definitely worth considering when you shop around.
