"Can't believe the price!"

This camera is a new release it has a very high resolution which means that pictures are very clear when taken with this, it is 5 mega pixels. The most amazing thing about this camera is that it is cheap, you can pick one up for just, wait for it! £100!!

This is a very practical camera with the impressive high resolution it has, you might think it would be rather difficult to operate but it is not, the ease at which you can use the camera is one of its selling points, and strong points. It has a silver finish for added style it really does have that modern look about it. The size of the camera is 6cm high x 2.5cm wide and 9cm long, its also a nice weight has a quality weight feel. It is a very compact styled camera which makes it very practical. Another great feature is the power source just 2 AA size batteries, I find that it is best to buy some quality rechargeable ones. I am sure the battery option was added for practical reasons, as this type of camera usually has a rechargable lithiumion battery. 2 AA batteries are very good for usability if you buy a pack of four batteries you can have two goes!!

The camera also has memory that can be added and stored so if you do not have enough you can buy some more, for more pictures. The lens also offers a 3x optical zoom with a 4x digital booster so you can get a more detailed shot of a distant picture.

This camera is a great but the best thing is you have the chance to get a high quality camera for the fraction of the price it is normally sold for.

Product Information : Pentax Optio 50

Manufacturer's product description

The PENTAX Optio50 is a compact, lightweight digital camera that makes digital photography easy for virtually anyone. Incorporating a handy "Simple" mode, it allows the user to quickly choose an icon that matches the subject at hand and have the camera select all the optimal settings automatically for the best possible results. And to ensure easy use continues no matter where you go, the Optio50 has also been designed to be powered by AA batteries, which are widely available internationally. But to be worthy of the PENTAX name, of course, ease of use is simply not enough. Indeed, the Optio50 offers the power and clarity of a 3X optical zoom lens and the sheer detail and high-level resolution of 5.0 effective megapixels, making it as sharp at shooting as it is easy to use.
