I have had this camera for a while now and apart from the battery needing to be charged, I yet to find anything to maon about.
Out of the box it is to use with all the pre-sets. The menu's are reasonably intuitive and the screen us great. It uses the SD type memory card which I believe tends to less expensive than most other cards. I have put in a 512mb card and still haven't filled it.
I like the "quick delete" button where you can immediately delete a picture that you are not happy with.
The connection to the PC is through an USB and is very easy to set up. Some software is included, but it is the most basic and a more sophisticated software may be necessary for more effects.
The camera is feature rich, and as you get more confident you can get more creative or use more of the pre-programmed features.
I think it is pitched at just below the SLR pro-sumer cameras but it is excellent value. The only thing to bear in mind is a spare battery.
