It takes the best video I have seen from a small point and shoot camera. I would recommend a memory card as the internal memory disappears very quick ... ...can be a bit fiddly, I use a card reader but am wary that the constant open and close of the waterproof battery /sd card mechanism invites dust, sand to the seal and possible failure.
There are loads of features, each with its own easy to find graphic and on screen description making it easy to use. If the features are not complete for yourneeds you can manually alter the settings as well, although I doubt I will ever need to.

Connecting to the PC can be a bit fiddly, I use a card reader but am wary that the constant open and close of the waterproof battery /sd card mechanism invites dust, sand to the seal and possible failure.

The camera also allows post production of images and video to allowing you get the best from your picture before downloading to your PC, The video editing feature allows you to stitch together your clips and produce your own little movie. Whilst useful it obviously lacks the abilities of a PC.
Overall it is highly recommended, especially if you are likely to be in wet environments, from kids splasing in the paddling pool to boating or surfing.
