Advantages: Great build quality, easy to use and good picture quality. Disadvantages: No image stabalisation and no wide angle capability in the lens.
As I am sure most Ciao members will now know, I am a professional photographer but as well as taking pictures I also hold photography seminars at my local camera club and over the last few years I have become somewhat of a target for sales persons asking me to try out their latest digital cameras and give talks and written reviews on them.

Advantages: Lots of add-ons to the existing game, more freedom with social interations, can provide hours of entertainment before boredom sinks in Disadvantages: takes up a heck of a lot of hard drive space, a little tricky to navigate some parts, not good for your social life!

This year for Christmas, I purchased the new Sims PC game, "Hot Date," for my daughter. Meredyth is a lover of all the Sims games and can play them for hours at a time. This one looked quite interesting on the Amazon site, so I ordered it for her as soon as it was available.
I must admit that it has been one of her very favorite gifts - once we worked out how to install, that is. All of the other Sims games have been relatively easy to install. Not the case with this one, I'm afraid. Each time we would reach a certain point during the download (at 95% installation), it would stop and say that we had to install another disk that was nowhere to be found and one that neither Jon, Meredyth, nor I had ever heard of.
