It's very easy to use, since it has auto advance and easy loading, though the first time I must say I had no idea what I was doing. The film loaded fine regardless. The photos are clear with any speed of film and the colour is brilliant! I've taken photos in a bright and lit up Times Square, ... ...California, as well as in caves in a dark and gloomy forest in New Zealand. I've rarely had any issues with red eye, nor blurry photos, even in severe fog and rain.
If I ask a stranger to take a photo for me, they never have to figure out how to use it, with hours of explanation just for one shot of me standing next to some pretty scenery. It's an efficient little camera, that is with me almost all of the time.
When I was 21 and moving from New York to California, my mom gave me a wee gift. It was a silver coloured Pentax PC-55 35mm camera. It has been very handy, since I have lived away from family and many friends for 4 years now.

The photos are clear with any speed of film and the colour is brilliant! I've taken photos in a bright and lit up Times Square, from cliffs over the sparkly Pacific Ocean in very sunny California, as well as in caves in a dark and gloomy forest in New Zealand. I've rarely had any issues with red eye, nor blurry photos, even in severe fog and rain.

Having a camera is a neccessity for me, so I can send pictures (via email and/or post) to my family to show them where I am living and what I have seen. The only feature that I feel my camera is missing, is zoom. I took a photo from a cliff, of sheep walking in single file on a beach in Kaikoura, New Zealand, and it came out looking like a dim white line on sand because it was just too far away.
This camera is a great item, and I recommend it for all casual photographers. It comes in a handy case and can withstand clunking around and hitting the floor! It's easy point-and-click use makes it a good one for beginners. At between only £25 and £30, it is a great value too!
