Pepsi Max

The item i am reviewing is a 0.33L can of Pepsi Max - this is a drink i have not tasted in a long time as i was a coke addict then into pepsi.

However i decided to buy this drink for a change and i thought... hmmm its nice, not to gassy and its nice.

A Bit of History About Pepsi Max

Pepsi max is a low calorie, no sugar cola drink brought out in 1993 - they name had came from Pepsi Max meaning Maximum Taste in flavour.It was a diet product however the name diet pepsi would not appeal to younger people to the Name max also could have been used for this reason aswell.

The labeling design:

This can is a darkish blue metalic and has the pepsi logo on the front and back of the can with the words PEPSI MAX wrote over the logo in large text -PEPSI wrote in white text MAX wrote in red text to match the logo.
On the rim of the can it reads - No Sugar - Max Taste - repeated the whole way around the rim. In white text to make it stand out - which is really eye catching.
Below the logo it tells you how much in in the can 0.33L.

The design is very unique, the blue metalic is pepsi's unique style and stands out, and the red and while logo is well known by everyone. Everyone would know by looking at the can what drink it is.

The taste

The taste is hard to explain, you can tell its pepsi brand but the taste is just not as full on as pepsi as there is no sugar - it makes a big difference in the taste. Its similar to the diet coke as this would be the pepsi version of diet coke.
instead of diet pepsi its pepsi max.
the taste is nice - it has a caremel taste.

The after taste

There is an after taste - but as far as i can taste its just the same taste as the drink itself, the taste stays in your mouth and if you like the drink then you will be happy as you ca still taste it after your finished the can haha :)

The Price

This can cost me 50p in my local mace shop - as most cans would, theres always around 50 - 60pence, i personally think 60pence is alot for a can, but people will pay it.
i wouldnt tho, so avoid buying any cans in places that are trying to rip you off as all cans should be around 50 - 55p
yes i know 5p woopeedoo - its the principle of the thing :) i stand to them :)
you can buy bottles of pepsi max aswell and they would be around 70p which is reasonable enough.

well if you are into your diet drinks, low calorie with maximum tase then this is the drink for you, its a diet drink but not as obvious as most diet drinks as it does not mention the word DIET!!!. it still has the caramel flavour but just not as sweet as pepsi itself because there is no sugar and its cheap aswell.
