My holiday treat!!!
Advantages: A really masculine fragrance. Disadvantages: It is more expensive to buy in the UK than in Tenerife!
...particular shopping trip I choose Givenchy Gentlemen After Shave Lotion for him to wear. The reason I choose it was because I loved the smell on his sun-warmed skin. We all know that our holidays are precious and they can be spent in many ways, whether considering a crazy night in the city, a day on the beach, or a quiet picnic in a field, I felt that Givenchy Gentlemen After Shave Lotion will be at home at any of these venue. It is also a comfortable ... ...also being very modern too. Givenchy Gentlemen After Shave Lotion has I suppose a timeless fragrance, having a woody, yet slightly oriental fragrance with strong floral notes. This after-shave lotion was first created in 1974 by Hubert de Givenchy. It is best described as being part of the Woody fragrances for men. This Givenchy fragrance is described as an ‘absolute legend of all time’ with rich deep base notes of Patchouli, vertevert ...

Hot Damn!
Advantages: Sexy, feminine scent Disadvantages: You'll want to use it everyday
This is currently my favourite fragrance, I bought it for myself as a treat, and it's fulfilled it's purpose, the bottles nearly empty!
It's got a sexy, slightly spicy/fruity smell to it with notes of raspberry , but is also refreshing and quite light, which I like, I hate perfumes that are too heavy.
The perfume has great packaging, it comes in a nice box and the bottle is beautiful and looks lovely on my dresser. It costs around £30.00 for a ...

Resist the temptation
Advantages: Long lasting, strong smell Disadvantages: Feels outdated, odd, incongruous accords
...Parisian fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy opened his first boutique that soon became a pioneering enterprise being the first to offer ready-to-wear collections for the modern woman. Refined elegance and audacious classic lines has become known worldwide thanks to Mr Givenchy's 40-year friendship with Audrey Hepburn who becomes the brand's ambassador. The success of the luxury clothes line is followed by the 1957 launch of Givenchy's first two ... ...in 1961. Up to date Givenchy have produced nearly sixty fragrances an astonishing half of these being men's fragrances.
The packaging
The tall, triangular bottle comes in neon green and black shades that merge into each other halfway up. The nozzle sits on the edge of the slanted lid metallic on the front. The impression of the packaging and choice of colours is odd, slightly old-fashioned but certainly masculine though the shape of the ...

Revealing the goddess in you?
Advantages: Feminine, womanly, sexy and elegant Disadvantages: Can be overpowering if not your sort of thing
...from the design house of Givenchy who describe it as 'A magical mix of classic sensuality, refinement and opulence, Organza is the symbol of the eternal woman. Organza is the goddess that exists in every woman, he incarnates a pure a timeless beauty.' This leads me nicely onto the bottle design actually. As you can see from the picture, the glass bottle has a very feminine figure almost carved into it which is ridged to the eye and touch and overall ... ...mimicked in the advertising with a woman in the dress of the same shape - unfortunately I am unable to include any of these advertisements due to copyright laws.
The lid is gold (well not real gold obviously but gold coloured), and in the design of a ladies hat - not just any old hat though but the sort of hat you might see at a ladies races day when you have to dress to impress and see to be seen. I've heard it described as Egyptian looking but ...
