Smell of Dali
Advantages: Smells alluring and sexy Disadvantages: does not stay on long
i know Salvador Dali is a great painter but i never thought he would make fantastic sexy perfumes. The Dalissime is one of my fanorites. The smell is tangy and sweet with those two mixed together the smell is sexy and alluring to the men. The bottle is also a big eye catcher and looks great on the vanity table you have own Dali work of art. The only disadvantage about this its a eau de toilette and it does not stay on long like a perfum does. But, ...

This mania is still going strong...
Advantages: One of a kind, exotic bland, collectible bottle Disadvantages: Strong apricot - peach note, availability
... I discovered the Salvador Dali Parfums perfume house in 1999, the year Dalimania was released as I received it as a gift and got hooked on it. It also sparked my interest in perfumes in general and in the perfume house Parfums Salvador Dali itself which was created and signed by Dali in 1982 to allow worldwide licensing of his works of fragrances and bottles designed by himself in the 1950-60s. The actual development of the fragrances took off ... ...and Dali for Men with 27 fragrances produced to date. THE PACKAGING This great collectible item comes in vitreous orangey-red coloured tall glass bottle that has a nose and lip shaped onto it on both sides. The bottle was designed based on Dali’s own painting ‘O Christmas O’ he finished in 1946. The click-top lid has the same colour as the bottle and is made of plastic. Also exists an 8ml pen edition I had quite a few of over the years as I ...

Salvador Dali's Salvador Dali - A timeless unforgettable classic
Advantages: long lasting and a lovely unforgettable fragrance Disadvantages: very difficult to find
This fragrance is one of those that if you cannot find it, you spend years searching for it! It is a deep scent, both floral and spicy. Although vanilla is not listed in the ingredients, it is that sort of deep scent, which wafts soothingly. It is also one of the few fragrances I have found which do not change scent and fade quickly. Although one site lists the composition as rose, plum, amber and bergamot, I cannot identify any of those individual ... ...not rosey (which I do not like). The disadvantage of this fragrance is that it is getting very difficult to find. However, that is more of an advantage to those ladies who prefer an individual scent which suits their personality rather than one of the more commonplace mass marketed scents. ...

Ruby lips and faux pas
Advantages: Collectible bottle, nice scent Disadvantages: Poor staying power, Dali knows better than this
...the Dali fragrance arsenal. Parfums Salvador Dali, the perfume house isn't widely known outside France I'd say, it was created and signed by Dali in 1982 to allow worldwide licensing of his works of fragrances and bottles designed by himself in the 1950-60s. The bottle The Rubylips Eau de Toilette is recogniseable by their distinctive lip motive and is a representation of Dali's Ruby Lips brooch created in 1949 from ruby coloured crystals and ... ...with five ruby lips sculpted onto it. The colour is ruby red including the square click-top lid. The fragrance Top notes: yuzu, apple, red currant The starting notes of Rubylips are sour citrus and zesty red fruits blending into a fruity-fresh mixture. The somewhat dominant sour note makes it different from a lot of similar fruity openings where the fruits are usually sweeter and juicier. This sweet and sour note stays on for about half and ...
