*** Persil Washing Up Liquid ***
Persil I think, are best known for their laundry powder. Maybe I've been burying my head in the sand, but I only recently discovered their washing up liquid and chose it mainly for it's price. It isn't presented in a particularly exciting bottle and it does look like an economy washing up liquid. However, what makes persil washing up liquid stand out, is that it contains baking soda. Now I don't ... ...have measured up to the persil standard. This is no doubt down to the baking soda that persil has in it and to be completely honest I love it! I really find it has made me enjoy washing up more because I love seeing the shiny results afterwards. That may sound strange but the results really are that good! There aren't even any little mucky bits anywhere and you can actually see yourself in everything. 4) Is It Quicker?
Although it promises to be ...

Advantages: Effective, long lasting, bubbly Disadvantages: Colour of bottle
...village with porridge. Persil washing up liquid turned my washing bowl into a modern day equivalent of the magic porridge pot. i squeezed the magic green liquid into my bowl, poured the hot water on top of it and before i knew it the magic washing up bowl was producing bubbles and it wouldn’t stop. bubbles were streaming over the sides, on to the kitchen floor, through into the hallway, pouring down the front steps into the garden. Well, almost. ... ...THE VARIETIES
Persil have decanted their magic liquid into four different containers. this elixir comes in the following flavours: citrus burst (basically – orange, as indicated by the vivid fluorescent bottle, reminiscent of one of the more disturbing tango adverts) lemon zing anti-bacterial tea tree and peppermint anti-bacterial tea tree and rosemary The anti-bacterial varieties are about 15p more expensive than the others and don’t smell as nice. ...

Advantages: Good cleaning ability and value for money Disadvantages: Very strong over-powering "fragrance"!!
...This particular "flavour" of Persil brand can be found in a small, stocky clear bottle. It has a red flip top lid with White "Persil Aloe Fresh" label - with the familiar Persil logo.
The thing which I like about the bottle is that it is moulded in such a way that it has a "grab point" at the front and back of the bottle - that is to say that it is made easy to hold by dents and bumps on the bottle, so that it doesn't slip out of a hand which might ... ...sweet smelling room, courtesy of Persil for a fraction of the price of usual Air Fresheners!!
****LIQUID PERFORMANCE - DOES IT DO EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS ON THE BOTTLE?****
The label on the back of the bottle professes "Long Lasting, efficient formulation dissolves grease quickly." And I have to agree with that statement. You don't need lots to create a basin full of bubbles - I use approximately a teaspoon full, and this lasts for a huge amount of ...

Advantages: Cleans well and is good value Disadvantages: Not so kean on the Citrus smell
...Tesco’s had a special on Persil washing up liquids, I was a bit dubious to be honest. Still seeing as I give Danny the job of washing up most the time these days (All men should have at least one job in the house – especially if you have children!) I went with his judgement.
Here’s my opinion on Persil Naturgel Citrus scent.
The bottle
It’s a bit of an odd shape really, Kind of rectangular with a rounded top. It’s a clear bottle with a silver ... ...contact information). The ingredients follow; Persil concentrate washing up gel contains amongst other ingredients: 15=30% Anionic surfactants. Less than 5% - Non-ionic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants. Also contains – Preservatives. The bar ode is situated on the left hand side.
The Scents or Flavours
I am using Citrus flavour/scent although the following other flavours/scents are available (Information from Tesco.com as Persil.co.uk does not ...

Advantages: very effective on grease. It really works. Disadvantages: more expensive
...personally,in the cheaper ranges...
Persil Naturgel is,I have discovered, very kind to those with sensitive skin.It has never made my skin itchy,or red,and as I can't get on with gloves-this is important to me.And because it's a gel;feels light, cleaner and easier to use.
Asda sells it for £1.56 which sounds alot-but it is good quality, and lasts so well.
There are I think,2 other perfumes with this particular brand, ciao visitors are welcome to comment ... ...of the cheaper brands!)
Persil Naturegel 500ml e mint variety, can be purchased at any good supermarket.
The small, concentrated packaging makes it light and non bulky to carry home, and you definately get more for your money.
Like most, there is a warning on the back label to always rinse and dry hands thoroughly after use which is important if you do suffer from skin allergies.
The persil care line (UK) can be reached on;0800 -0280020.If you have ...

Advantages: Aromatic smell, high performance from an own brand Disadvantages: Slightly drying on the skin
...My brand of choice for washingupliquid is actually Persil Aloe Vera. However, for some strange reason my local Sainsbury seem to have stopped stocking it and as a result, choices are limited. It appears to be Fairy or a Sainsbury own brand version. I refuse to pay over £1 for a 500ml bottle of Persil from the nearest corner shop, so opted for Sainsbury’s Perform + Protect Rosemary & Basil WashingUpLiquid.
In Sainsbury, premium brands like Persil or Fairy washingupliquid, retail at 88p for 500ml. The Rosemary & Basil own brand version sells at 79p so there’s not a huge difference in price. Given that I was paying a near to premium price for this, I did have high expectations.
The washingupliquid comes in a clear container, so you can see the liquid through the bottle. It’s an intense turquoise sea blue colour (quite...

Advantages: Reliable, now with new bottle, more fragrances, lasts longer. Disadvantages: Only 9p - but what's 9p?
...Strange things had been happening down the local supermarket a few months ago.
Around the same time as the fuel crisis, the shelves were empty of my favourite washingupliquid. I put this down to supplies not getting through.
I started to use the new Persilwashingupliquid, and although it gives a very rich lather, it just didn't seem to last as long as my Fairy!
It came in nice fragrances but I missed my Fairy!
It was cheaper too, by 20p but that 20p would have been worth the extra week's use from my Fairy!
It wasn't long before the supermarket had stocked up again. And I realised why they hadn't had any - they were changing the look of it.
There was MY Fairy washingupliquid!! It was back, and sporting a new bottle in all different colours! The shelves looked so bright and colourful that I just stared for minutes...

Advantages: Smells nice, does the job, doesn't cost the earth Disadvantages: None
...I have just finished a bottle of Morning Fresh washingupliquid and quite frankly it was hardly better then water. I had to use an awful lot just to get a bit of a lather.
I went into Tesco's and noticed their new washingup liqid in the same shape bottles as Persilwashingupliquid. It was on offer at buy one get one half price so I decided to give it a try. I wasn't expecting too much as own brand liquids don't tend to be too strong, but I was pleasantly surprised.
There is a range of different perfumes - the two I bought are Citrus and Spring both of which smell lovely. You only need a small amount to clean even greasy dishes and the price is very good indeed - especially if you buy it when it's on special offer!...
