This toy was bought for my (then) 4 1/2 year old daughter for Christmas. What fun! For those who remember Operation, this is a similar toy. Remove the objects from the pets without making them make a noise. To add to the fun, each animal makes a different noise - the dog barks, the duck Quacks, the cat mieows and the rabbit goes boing!! Each animal has 4 objects to remove that relate to that particular animal (a bone for the dog, fish for the cat).
A great idea for younger children as they can relate to the animals more than they would to a body on an operating table. As with all ELC products, reasonably priced at £10 (although subsequently seen in the sale at £5!!) Also nice bright colours to attract the children and the tweezers used to remove the objects are fairly easy to handle for small hands. It is good because it can easily be played by one child on their own or by up to four if they each have their own animal. Depending on the skill of the child, the game could be over quite quickly, however some of the objects are quite fiddly so it would take a while for them to become too efficient!
This is a game that has not lost it's appeal - 9 months on it is still played regularly and enjoyed by visiting friends as well. It keeps them amused for quite a while - even if they are not actually playing the game the ability to make noises is enough to keep them attracted to it.
The main downside is the small objects - they could get lost quite easily, although there is storage space for them within the game.
Another bonus - it was enjoyed by all the (rather drunk) adults at our New Years party - proof that ELC toys appeal to all ages!

Well written review, sounds like fun for the kids (and drunken adults). Could do with a little more detail though, perhaps how long it takes to play, and how long it holds the children's interest for... any extra info really that you feel would help the consumer decide whether to purchase it or not. Thanks, Karen :O)
