Pete and Geoff are radio superstars. Starting at 6am, they chat about (seemingly) whatever pops into their heads. Their call-ins are excellent, from the recently-retired "What's in your glove box?" to the brand new "What does your best mate do for a living?" just before 7am. Later, they invite children (aged 11 and under) to phone up and answer five impossibly difficult questions to win a pile of sweets as big as themselves. (Having read that back, maybe you need to listen to find it funny.)
As always on Virgin Radio, the music played is second-to-none (usually), their playlist including but not restricted to Feeder, Good Charlotte, the Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, The Thrills, Robbie Williams, Coldplay, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Bon Jovi and Stereophonics. Thankfully they steer clear of crappy, throwaway pop.If "Better music, more of it" and general hilarity are your cup of tea, then you'll want to listen to Pete and Geoff when you wake up in the morning.
