Advantages: Fantastic story, easy to read Disadvantages: Not quite the pantomine story you might expect
Another one of the books that I have had to read just recently for my degree course is PeterPan. I was quite excited by the prospect of reading this novel, as it is one that I have been meaning to read for quite some time but have just not got round too. Upon initially picking up the book I was expecting to read page after page of a pantomime like story full of mythical qualities and swashbuckling adventures. In short however I can say that this is not what I received. True the book does contain a great deal of pirating and is quite magical and mythical at times but it certainly does not have the pantomime like style I was expecting.

fairy Tinker Bell and, of course, me. The Lost Boys are those boys that fell out of their prams when they were babies. I believe you use something called buggies now but they can escape to me just the same. Come to the land of adventure, the land where you never need to grow up. Be young forever?..unless you are killed first. Why no girls (pah!) I hear you ask? Girls (pah!) are too good to fall out of their prams or buggies. Their only use is to be my mother.
I am told that I am quintessentially English even though a Scot called J.M. Barrie wrote this book about me. Some say that I am of the same ilk as some girl (pah!) called Alice who had adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, wherever they may be.
