Both of the twins like to drink Organic Pear juice from Peter Rabbits. We are only able to source this from Waitrose and we are unable to find it in any other supermarket where we live. The juice is pre-diluted, comes in a small carton of 150ml and costs 56p. Alternatively, we buy these in larger packs of 10 and pay £4.99, which works out slightly cheaper. We have also bought the summer berry and orange and mango varieties, but the pear flavour appears to be the favourite.

This drink is not too sweet and has no added sugar and is made with 100% organic ingredients. It is approved by the Soil Association. We try to consume organic food and drink wherever possible at home, but it is not always possible or indeed practical to follow a strict organic diet.

The cartons are useful to take on days out and are a nice drink for the whole family to enjoy. The drinks are best served chilled and once opened they can be stored in a fridge for up to twenty-four hours. It’s important to remember to shake the carton before use, as the contents do tend to settle at the base of the cartons. The cartons themselves are fully recyclable after use.

The drinks are obviously aimed at children and the pear variety has a picture of peter Rabbit and a large juicy pear on the front. The drinks are delicious and both of our children drink these on a regular basis, though we do prefer to give them plain water whenever possible.
