I saw this in a magazine and since I suffer from extremely shiny skin; I thought this would be the product for me.
According to the Boots website; 'L'Oréal Paris Studio Secrets Anti-ShineMattifying Primer offers a comfortable, mattifying result with an anti-shine finish. Easy to apply and comfortable: the finish is beautifully matte, smooth and velvety, as if by magic!'
It really is magic! This is meant as a base for make-up, it provides a smooth, non-shiny finish and allows make-up to last longer.
It usually costs £9.99, but is on special offer in Boots for £7.99 currently (Aug '09).
This is part of the new Studio Secrets range from L'Oreal which is the first professional make-up range from L'Oreal.

the Salicylic Acid in them. After you have applied them it does feel for quite a while like you have a bit of a mask on your face and your skin can feeel a little tight too. It should be remembered though that these are the max strenght pads so if you feel you only have very few blemishes it might be worth trying the gentle ones instead.
So the big question- do these work?!?! Well i've been using these for 5 days and my skin is definately looking clearer than it did so I think it's safe to say that yes these do work! I would really recommend these to anyone who has problem skin I think it couls be of real benefit to them. Personally I only use these once a day and then a Lush cleanser instead of the evening. For maximum results though and skin that is worse than mine perhaps twice a day would be more beneficial!
