Advantages: amusing Disadvantages: too early for an autobiography
...I am and have been for a few years now a massive fan of Peter Kay, ever since first watching ‘live at the top of the tower’ I could never get enough of his stand up. Being a fan of autobiographies in general I was interested when I heard Peter Kay was writing one and after a few subtle hints was able to open this book on Christmas day.

Advantages: Funny, An enjoyable read Disadvantages: A bit rushed only covers early years
...I recieved this book for christmas and started reading it christmas day and had finished it by new years day. I found the book very very funny.
The book does show where he gets all his storys from, most of them are his life experiences. You can hear Kays voice when reading this if you have ever seen him live or seen his DVDS.
Before i read the book i watch the series he did "That Peter Kay Thing" but didnt realise the storys were all real occurences in his life. Most of the storys in the book are in that series and i found the storys in the book much more amusing as i could imagine him in those situations.
Overall the book is very funny not your regular autobiography and very enjoyable if you like peter kay...
