...This is the first book in the Covert One series. The book is a great read in true Robert Ludlum style, although it was really Gayle Lynds who wrote it. The character sketches and basic storyline are Robert Ludlum's legacy to us.
Jon Smith is an Army Doctor with USAMRIID, engaged to the love of his life, Sophia Russell who is a beautiful, intelligent scientist. Then his fiance dies of a mysterious virus which turns out to have been deliberately administered. In Jon Smith's search for her killer he uncovers a monstrous conspiracy with the help of his friends. ...K-PAX III: The Worlds of Prot
The final instalment in the K-PAX series
As it is always hard to write reviews about book this is probably going to be a short review.
I don't want to give anything away and spoil all 3 books for those that have not read them.
Prot is back but this is to be his last visit to EARTH. Dr. Gene Brewer therefore has limited time in which to work out exactly who prot is and try and bring Robert back from his catatonic state permanently.
Prot will be taking one hundred beings (not just people as prot points out) back with him, to live with him on K-PAX, and it seems like everyone wants to go.
K-PAX III is another great book, which must be read to complete the series. While not as good as the first it still has the humour and keeps you interested all the way through. (It's not as thought provoking...
